“Grow, Learn and Engage in Sicily” is an ESC opportunity hosted by Human Rights Youth Organization, an organisation promoting human rights, social inclusion and active participation. Une Terre Culturelle is looking for a volunteer who will support a unique project in Sicily focused on the rehabilitation of lands confiscated from the mafia and transformed into spaces for learning, community engagement and sustainability. Activities may include gardening and field maintenance, helping with permaculture and local community events, supporting workshops and educational activities with children, and assisting the team with communication, logistics and project management. This experience is ideal for young people interested in social impact, nature, intercultural learning and community life. The project offers the chance to discover Sicily through meaningful local engagement, teamwork and daily life in an international environment.

The Participant profile: This project is open to young people aged 18–30 who are motivated to take part in a collective and meaningful volunteering experience. We are looking for open-minded, proactive and adaptable volunteers interested in human rights, environmental issues, community projects and non-formal education. An interest in gardening, permaculture, youth work or social inclusion will be appreciated. No specific professional experience is required, but motivation, willingness to learn and teamwork skills are important. A basic level of English is recommended in order to communicate within the international team and local activities.Deadline:
