France: ESC: Youth Mobility Volunteer - Pistes-Solidaires

Presentation of the programme

Join Pistes-Solidaires as a Youth Mobility Volunteer and help young people discover European opportunities through mobility, intercultural exchange, and international learning. You will support the promotion of European mobility, help prepare young people before departure, and contribute to the organization of youth exchanges, workshops, training courses, and group hosting activities. This is a hands-on and dynamic role where every day brings new people, new ideas, and new experiences. You will also help welcome international groups and ensure that activities are well organized, inclusive, and engaging. We are looking for someone curious about Europe, motivated by youth work, open-minded, proactive, and comfortable working in teams and with people from different backgrounds. Based in Pau, Pistes-Solidaires combines a strong local identity with a deep European outlook.

About the accomodation

The volunteer will live in shared flat and will have a private room. The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance for food and local transport + pocket money

About the leisure activities

The volunteers will participate in an on-arrival and a midterm training organised by the National Agency. The costs are covered.

Requirements

The Participant profile: Are you between 18 and 30 years old, curious about Europe, and excited by international experiences? This opportunity is for someone open-minded, motivated, and eager to support young people in discovering mobility o portunities, joining exchanges, and getting ready for meaningful experiences abroad. The ideal volunteer enjoys teamwork, communication, and meeting people from different backgrounds. They should be comfortable both with office tasks and with more active roles such as welcoming international groups, supporting workshops and training courses, helping with youth exchanges, and creating a warm and positive atmosphere during activities. Good knowledge of English is important. A proactive attitude, a sense of initiative, and an interest in intercultural learning and youth work will make all the difference.
