Eksperimentaalse Liikumise Keskus / Experimental Movement Centre Non profit organisation ELK was founded in 1998 to develop and promote experimental movement activities. Working at new circus and performing arts field. AIM: Public activities on non-profit basis. Hand-out stipends and support for creative work processes. Activities to unite dancers, circus artists, acrobatics, actors, video-makers. Organizing seminars, performances and advertising activities. Teaching. Exchanging information on the special field. Offering opportunities and support to the young artist finding their way. ELK HAS ORGANIZED: Circus Festivals and Camps New Circus performances Contemporary dance performances, seminars and workshops International and regional competitions for sportsacrobatics Everyday activities are circus and acrobatics trainings. Seasonally summer camps, christmas shows, acrobatic competitions, circus events.

This project takes place at the Experimental Movement Centre in Tallinn, Estonia, a non-profit organisation promoting circus, acrobatics, dance, and performing arts for children, youth, and adults. The centre focuses on developing creativity, independence, and confidence through non-formal learning and artistic expression. The volunteer will support training sessions as an assistant coach, working with children of different age groups, and may also help organise events, performances, and competitions. Depending on their interests, the volunteer can contribute to creative activities such as choreography, costume design, social media, or visual content creation. Through the project, the volunteer will gain hands-on experience in circus and movement-based activities, develop teaching and organisational skills, and build confidence in a creative and dynamic environment. ESC Volunteers will be provided with suitable accommodation conveniently located near their respective hosting organisation. Accommodation will typically be in a shared apartment or hostel, furnished with essential items. Rooms may be private or shared, depending on availability, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Volunteers receive €5/day pocket money and additional €7/day food allowance, managing their own meals. International travel is reimbursed based on set travel budget and task related local transport is covered to full extent.

Volunteers will take part in the ESC training cycle organized by the Estonian National Agency, which focuses on personal development and intercultural learning. Additionally, EstYES organizes hikes and other activities for volunteers throughout the service period, providing opportunities for social interaction.
