The MJC organises socio-cultural, socio-educational and sports activities for a wide range of children, young people and adults, leisure centres for children and young people and manages a leisure centre on a lake. There are about 1500 members. All the activities are implemented with a view to promoting the values of popular education. The youth sector is an especially important area of work, as the young public needs to be reached by diversifying the proposals and project approaches. The association has been involved in the Erasmus + scheme since 2000 and has hosted 27 volunteers in the framework of multiple projects. It accompanies young people to the sending and regularly welcomes young people wishing to learn about the programme, helps them to complete their research and participates in specific actions and in partnership to promote the programme to young people during school and extra-curricular time. The MJC implements its actions thanks to the investment of the association's volunteers and employees.
