Greece: ESC: Steps II

Presentation of the programme

Hellenic Youth Participation, shortly HYP, is based in Athens, Greece and it stands for intercultural dialogue, non-formal education, mutual understanding and solidarity. 2 volunteers will take part in Steps project for the period 08/09/2026-14/03/2027. The volunteers will: 1. support organizations in Athens with various activities (e.g. cooking & distributing food, multicultural library) according to their interests, 2. create and deliver workshops to adults and teenagers, 3. support HYP's activities, 4. create online awareness campaigns about social issues for Instagram, create content for and manage social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), 5. organize local events (clean-ups, cultural workshops etc.), 6. create podcast episodes. About the accomodation

Volunteers will receive 180 euros for their pocket money and 180 for their food and local transportation. Volunteers will be hosted in a 4-bedroom flat, sharing kitchen and bathroom. Travelling to Greece and back is covered up to a certain amount, according to the distance calculator of EU.

About the leisure activities

The volunteers will take part in the Welcome introduction days, in 2 trainings organized by the Greek NA (On-Arrival training & Mid Term Evaluation training), they will receive support and training on their tasks, they will take part in monthly trainings on soft skills and personal development and they will attend a weekly Greek lesson, offered by a volunteer. Requirements

The Participant profile: We are looking for 2 people who are: -interested in getting experience in youth and social organisations, -interested in non-formal education, -interested in creating workshops and organising activities for teenagers and youngsters, -able to communicate in English, -willing to be creative and engaged in the organisation's activities, -willing to take initiatives, -willing to work in a multicultural team, -willing to create content and upgrade social media, -passionate and willing to learn, -willing to promote European opportunities, -ready to take responsibility.Deadline: 08/07/2026 23:59
