Le GIP de Limoges (groupement d'intérêt public) est une structure publique dédiée au portage de projets et adossée au Rectorat de Limoges. Dans le cadre de la création des régions académiques depuis 2021, le GIP de Limoges est devenu le GIP centralisateur des projets ERASMUS+ pour la région académique Nouvelle Aquitaine. A ce titre, il porte le projet CES LEAD au nom de la région académique. La région académique Nouvelle-Aquitaine est composée de trois académies : Bordeaux, Limoges et Poitiers. La rectrice de la région académique Nouvelle-Aquitaine fixe les orientations stratégiques et assure la coordination des politiques éducatives de la région académique. Ses missions principales sont : - Accompagnement des établissements scolaires en leur fournissant des ressources pédagogiques, des outils pédagogiques, des formations pour les enseignants, ainsi que des conseils et un accompagnement dans le développement de leurs projets éducatifs - Promotion de l'innovation pédagogique en soutenant la mise en place de nouvelles pratiques pédagogiques, ainsi que la mise en œuvre de projets éducatifs novateurs. Les groupes cibles de la région académique Nouvelle-Aquitaine sont les élèves de tous les niveaux d'enseignement (de la maternelle au lycée et post-bac), les enseignants, les établissements scolaires, les parents d'élèves, ainsi que les partenaires institutionnels et économiques impliqués dans le domaine de l'éducation.
Main tasks • Reinforcing the concept of European citizenship and raising awareness on topics such as European mobility within the school community . • Getting involved in sustainability-related activities, as well as in health, prevention and well-being projects within the school. • Enriching and promoting the culture of modern languages within the school: setting up a “café des langues” at school and/or in the local community. Supporting students in their language learning processes. • Organizing the European Day of Languages and the national “Semaine des Langues” • Setting up activities, in partnership with Year 10 pupils from Borda high school, to facilitate the transition from middle school to secondary school • Developing the Gazette des Langues project and/or other media-related projects: he/she will participate in the actions implemented by the staff. He/she will offer individualized support to students in the creation of various media materials
The volunteer will be housed in an apartment shared with teaching assistants from the Landes, located in the Lycée de Borda, in Dax city center which allows easy access to transportation. Lunches will be provided by the school on Mondays and Tuesdays. To travel to the Pouillon middle school, the volunteer will use the carpooling system set up for language assistants. They will be transported by teachers from the school who live in Dax.
The volunteer will be accompanied in all activities, supported and supervised by members of the educational community (teachers, student support staff). He/she will benefit from the digital training offered to teachers as well as a French language training (also available on a digital platform).
The Participant profile: The volunteer must be open-minded, motivated, and interested in the themes of volunteering: - strong interest in youth and community work - experience and/or initial contact with young people - enjoyment of teamwork and working in intercultural situations - adaptability and flexibility to participate in ad hoc projects. No specific qualifications are required to participate in this project other than a certain degree of autonomy and the ability to integrate into the team.
