IZUM Youth Club is a dynamic mobile youth learning and development Center that has been actively engaged in Tallinn, Estonia since 1994. Our mission revolves around fostering non-formal education opportunities for youth aged eleven and above, both locally and internationally. We offer a diverse array of activities aimed at self-development, encompassing various aspects of youth culture such as theater, music, dance, and art. This project presents an invaluable opportunity for volunteers to immerse themselves in the areas of youth work, directly engaging with youth within our organization. Volunteers will have direct interaction with the local minority community, enabling them to make a tangible impact. Volunteers will be provided with suitable accommodation conveniently located near their respective hosting organisation. Accommodation will typically be in a shared apartment or hostel, furnished with essential items. Rooms may be private or shared, depending on availability, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Volunteers receive €5/day pocket money and additional €7/day food allowance, managing their own meals. International travel is reimbursed based on set travel budget and task related local transport is covered to full extent.

Volunteers will take part in the ESC training cycle organized by the Estonian National Agency, which focuses on personal development and intercultural learning. Additionally, EstYES organizes hikes and other activities for volunteers throughout the service period, providing opportunities for social interaction.

The Participant profile: We are looking for a volunteer who genuinely enjoys spending time with young people and is curious to get to know them. The volunteer should be willing to actively participate in activities, bring their own ideas, and take initiative in turning those ideas into reality. We value someone who is open-minded, motivated, and not afraid to step outside their comfort zone. At the same time, it is important to be a team player who supports others and contributes to a positive atmosphere. The volunteer will become an important member of the IZUM team, working alongside youth workers and teachers to create meaningful experiences for young people.Deadline:
