Volunteers will live at Casa IBO (Via Boschetto 1), in Ferrara, close to the city center, together with other international volunteers. The house has different rooms and bathrooms to be shared, one big kitchen, a garden and a terrace. The house is in the same building of the offices. What we offer: monthly pocket money, food, round-trip travel expenses, Italian language course, insurance, youth pass certificate. If the volunteer is residing in Ferrara, no problem! We have spaces for Italian volunteers as well and you will be living in your own house.

We offer volunteers the opportunity to attend these face-to-face trainings: one arrival general training about IBO, arrival and mid term trainings organized by our National Agency for Youth (depending on how long you are volunteering), one Italian course, and other trainings and workshops depending on the period (e.g. camp leader training).

The Participant profile: We are looking for volunteers with good knowledge of English and a basic level of Italian, and above all a strong motivation to volunteer, grow personally, and support the mission and values of the organisation. A willingness to fully immerse themselves in an experience working closely with the staff, in a collaborative team environment, is also very important.
