About the local hosting organization

Parafia zlokalizowana jest w centrum Wrocławia,jest bardzo aktywną i żywą społecznością,biorącą udział w wielu działaniach na terenie miasta.Swoją misję realizuje przez działalność socjalną i edukacyjną: -w przedszkolach -w szkołach,w których koordynuje projekty wolontariatu i angażuje się w działania grup młodzieżowych -w Domu Senior+,gdzie pracują wolontariuszy -na cotygodniowych spotkaniach dla różnych grup wiekowych -prowadząc wspólnie z Radą Osiedla i wolontariuszami lodówkę społeczną -jako współzałożyciel różnych fundacji,działających na rzecz mieszkańców miasta i miast partnerskich -chóru i zespołu młodzieżowego -prowadząc międzynarodowe festiwale organowe. Od roku 2015 z dużym zaangażowaniem parafia prowadzi projekty wolontariackie w ramach Erasmus+ i EKS i planuje aktywnie działać na tym polu,przyjmować i wysyłać młodzież i wspierać organizacje goszczące. Od 2016 roku wspólnie z partnerską organizacją Generationsbrücke z Berlina realizuje projekt Most pokoleń,celem którego jest stały kontakt różnych grup wiekowych.Działalność w tym kierunku rozwija się,dołączają kolejne organizacje,a parafia pełni rolę Lidera,w który zaangażowani są wolontariusze EKS. Podczas realizacji poprzednich projektów parafii udało się nawiązać nowe kontakty z partnerami w małych miejscowościach,w których planuje prowadzić nowe projekty wolontariatu,skierowane na rozwój małych miejscowości i wyrównywanie szans młodych ludzi z mniejszymi szansami. CELE: -rozszerzyć formy pomocy udzielanej w ramach misji -poszerzać zasięg działalności,zbudować platformę do spotkań różnych grup społeczeństwa -zapraszać młodzież z Europy i krajów partnerskich do udziału w działaniach solidarnościowych -rozwijać aktywną współpracę na różnych szczeblach i budować mosty wzajemnego porozumienia między krajami -umożliwić młodzieży zdobywanie doświadczeń,kompetencji rozwoju osobistego,realizację własnych projektów PLANY: -angażowanie młodzieży w działania obywatelskie,społeczne i kulturalne -łączenie w projektach młodzież z różnych krajów, kultur i środowisk -stworzenie z org.partnerskimi systemu wsparcia młodzieży w trakcie udziału w projektach EKS. GRUPY DOCELOWE: dzieci,także z rodzin imigrantów i małych miejscowości;młodzież,w tym uczniowie z rodzin imigrantów,z małych miejscowości i z mniejszymi szansami;obywatele Wrocławia i regionu;seniorzy;dzieci,młodzież i seniorzy w krajach pochodzenia wolontariuszy. The Parish is located in the center of Wrocław,it is a very active and lively community that takes part in many activities and events in the city.It carries out its mission through social and educational activities: -in kindergartens -in schools where it coordinates volunteering projects and is involved in the activities of youth groups -in the Daily Care Centre Senior+,where volunteers work -at weekly meetings for different age groups -running a foodsharing social fridge together with the Housing Estate Council and volunteers -as a co-founder of various foundations operating for the benefit of the inhabitants of the city and partner cities -choir and youth team -hosting international organ festivals. Since 2015,the parish has been carrying out volunteer projects under Erasmus + and ESC with great commitment and plans to be active in this field,host and send young people and support host organizations. Since 2016,together with the partner organization Generationsbrücke from Berlin,has been implementing the project Bridge of Generations,the aim of which is the constant contact of different age groups.Activities in this direction are expanding,more organizations join,and the parish acts as the coordinator of the project in which ESC volunteers are involved. During the implementation of previous parish projects,we managed to establish new contacts with partners in small towns,in which the Parish plans to conduct new volunteering projects aimed at the development of small towns and equalizing the chances of young people with fewer opportunities. OBJECTIVES: -to extend the forms of assistance provided as part of the mission -expand the range of activities,build a platform for meetings of various groups of society -invite young people from Europe and partner countries to participate in solidarity activities -develop active cooperation at various levels and build bridges of mutual understanding between countries -enable young people to gain experience, personal development competences,and implement their own projects PLANS: -youth involvement in civic,social and cultural activities -connecting young people from different countries,cultures and environments in the projects -creation with org. partners of the youth support system during participation in ESC projects. TARGET GROUPS: children, also from immigrant families and small towns; young people, including students from immigrant families, from small towns and with fewer opportunities; citizens of Wroclaw and the region; seniors; children, youth and seniors in the volunteers' countries of origin.

Presentation of the programme

Join an international group volunteering project and experience a unique journey through music, culture, and collaboration with young people from different European countries! During the first part of the project,you will help organize an international choral festival in Wroclaw,supporting promotional,organizational,and logistical activities. You will gain valuable experience in teamwork and discover what happens behind the scenes of a large cultural event. The second part of the project will take place in Sycow and will focus on music,nature,and creativity. You will participate in workshops exploring sound,voice, breathing,and the role of music in different cultures. Together,we will discover the sounds of nature, create music, share traditions from our countries, and document the experience through the digital project diary, "TON Voices." If you are open to new experiences, enjoy working with others, and want to create something meaningful together, we are waiting for you!

About the accomodation

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided by the hosting organisation in Wrocław and Syców. Participants will stay in fully equipped accommodation close to project activities. Food & pocket money: Food and pocket money will be provided according to ESC rules. Insurance: Full insurance coverage provided. Language support: Access to Polish language learning through OLS. Mentorship: Support from an experienced mentor throughout the project. Travel costs: Travel costs are covered according to ESC rules.

About the leisure activities

Participants will take part in introductory sessions at the beginning of each project phase covering aims, tasks, teamwork and intercultural learning. After the festival in Wrocław and at the end of the project in Syców, reflection and evaluation sessions will be organised to support learning and competence development. Participants will join workshops with professionals from culture and education and educational visits to local institutions, including public administration and community organisations. They will receive continuous support from mentors and the coordinating team.

Requirements

The Participant profile: We are looking for motivated young people (18–30) interested in music, culture, teamwork and intercultural learning. Participants may have either musical experience or no prior experience – both are welcome. Participants should be open-minded, responsible and willing to engage in group activities and community work. They should be ready to collaborate in an international environment and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds, even with limited language skills. We welcome participants who are curious, creative and interested in personal development, social engagement and learning through non-formal education.
