Romania: ESC: A4ACTION ESC VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM - LONG TERM

Presentation of the programme

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer through the European Solidarity Corps? Join us in Snagov, Romania, and become part of a dedicated team working to create positive change in the local community. Volunteers will be actively involved in activities implemented at the A4ACTION Youth Center, within the local community, and in local schools. As part of this project, volunteers will: - Implement non-formal activities at the A4ACTION After School program for children aged 7 to 10 years; - Implement workshops in local schools, including cultural events, skills and soft skills development workshops, civic engagement workshops etc. - Design activity plans for every activity conducted at the A4ACTION Youth Center and in local schools. - Complete various administrative tasks; - Write an article summarizing the volunteering experience at the end of the project; - Contribute to the development of the A4ACTION Virtual Youth Center;

About the accomodation

Transport cost reimbursement (to come to Romania and to go back to their countries of residence) according to the band distance and the ESC guideline; Pocket and food money according to the ESC guidelines; Accommodation shared with the other volunteers; The accommodation is granting easy access to public transportation, shops, and is fully equipped with modern amenities, including WiFi, furniture, beds with bed sheets, cutlery etc. Medical insurance during the full volunteering period assured by Henner Insurance Plan.

About the leisure activities

The volunteers will take part in workshops and training sessions on various topics, including non-formal education, working with children and young people, first aid etc. In addition, they will attend the On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by the Romanian National Agency.

Requirements

The Participant profile: Aged between 18 and 30 years old; Unemployed at the time of selection; Responsible and reliable; Communicative, friendly, and positive attitude; Interested in the theme of the project; Capable of preparing and leading activities; Eager to contribute to the development of the A4ACTION Youth Centre; Resident of an EU country; Good knowledge of English; Motivated and ready to be actively involved in the local community.Deadline:
