Italy: ESC: ESC in YouNet Reggio-Emilia, Vocational Education and Training projects

Presentation of the programme

Volunteers will take part in the welcoming and culturally rich environment of Reggio Emilia, Italy, engaging with the local and international community through YouNet’s and IFOM’s activities. They will gain experience in a European context, learning about EU institutions and youth programmes. Volunteers may support VET (Vocational Education and Training) activities, and help the implementation of European projects, developing organizational skills and flexibility. During their service, they will develop coordination and teamwork skills, increase self-awareness, and build confidence. Throughout cultural activities and accompaniment of foreign students, they have the opportunity to discover new cultures, and develop their proactive approach in managing challenging situations.

About the accomodation

The volunteer will share the room with another volunteer (same gender) in a flat with all facilities, shared with other international volunteers. The flat is composed by 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen and dining room. There is wi-fi and a washing machine. The volunteers will have a monthly food allowance and some pocket money to cover basic needs. The volunteer will have available a bike and occasional bus tickets for the city of Reggio Emilia.

About the leisure activities

General Online Training, Linguistic support, Pre-departure training, On-arrival training, Mid-term evaluation, Annual European Solidarity Corps events, Post-arrival follow-up. Volunteers will attend monthly meetings with non-formal methods to develop their soft skills.
