Foundation Ukraine (Fundacja Ukraina) is a non profit organization aimed to promote, develop and support multicultural space, addressed to migrants, local community and various national minorities. The goal of our projects is to create a multicultural space providing the informational and educational actions for immigrants in Wroclaw, along with support, as well integration with the local community, both social and cultural. Our organization want to give an answer to the real need of the community to increase the quantity and quality of the pursued actions for the migrants and minorities in Wroclaw, develop tolerance and acceptance among the receiving society, specifically by meeting other culture and establish direct relationships. Foundation is experienced in organising volunteering, educational, cultural and development projects within Lower Silesian region for local society, minorities and migrants. Organization through the acquired skills and market knowledge is able to create a close cooperation with business lines and branches. Additionally we search for ways and methods to reorganize local governance in order to fully take advantage of the contribution by creating partnership with local and regional authorities. One more our direction is influencing development of local, regional and national migration policy.
Fundacja Ukraina is looking for two motivated volunteers to join our team for a period of 319 days , until the end of August 2027. We are looking for people who speak Ukrainian and English at least at B1 level, as one of the key tasks will be supporting and implementing English Speaking Clubs for the local community. The volunteers will be engaged in various activities supporting the development of CUKR – the Centre for Ukrainian Culture and Development – as well as the broader work of Fundacja Ukraina. Their tasks will include: preparing and conducting English Speaking Club meetings; supporting intercultural and integration events; assisting in the organization of cultural, educational and community-building activities; supporting communication with participants and the local community; helping with content creation and social media activities; support in administrative and internal operations of the Foundation; support migrants and strengthen the local community.
As a volunteer, you'll receive training and mentoring in event management, working with children, social media marketing and administration. You'll join a creative, supportive team and have space to grow and implement your own ideas and projects. We provide accommodation (private room), meals, transport (including to/from the project), pocket money and insurance - everything you need for a meaningful and enriching experience.
This volunteering experience offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the NGO sector, improve organizational and communication skills, develop experience in facilitating language and integration activities, take part in Polish language courses and work as part of a passionate, impact-driven team. The volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn more about intercultural education, community-building, event organization and supporting people with migration and refugee experience.
The Participant profile: We are looking for 2 volunteers who: - have a good command of English and Ukrainian — at least B1 level; - are interested in preparing and conducting English Speaking Club meetings for the local community; - feel comfortable facilitating discussions and working with groups; - are open to working with people from different cultural backgrounds; - are flexible, communicative and well-organized; - show creativity, initiative and willingness to learn; - are interested in integration activities and supporting migrants; - have basic skills in Canva and Google Workspace tools, such as Docs, Sheets, Drive and Forms; - have good teamwork skills and a responsible attitude; - are willing to help with event organization, communication and community-building activities; - are able to support participants in a friendly and inclusive way.Deadline: 25/08/2026 00:00
