Romania: ESC: YOUTH ON A MISSION - TEAM 9

Presentation of the programme

The goal of ”Youth on a Mission” is to support the activity of the Ukrainian Educational Hub, by involving ESC volunteering teams, in offering extracurricular and non-formal based opportunities, bringing together the Ukrainian kids and teens with Romanian youth, and developing competencies in a safe and comfortable space. The project is not only supporting the Ukrainian kids and teens in UkrKidsHub, but also their parents and the whole community within which the activities are planned to be carried out. “Youth on a mission” addresses the needs of the target group, particularly young Ukrainians, by providing them with essential services, educational support, and a sense of belonging in the community, indirectly supporting the activity of the Ukrainian educational hub. It will mainly address the challenges of cultural differences and the language barriers that the Ukrainians are facing in their integration process

About the leisure activities

You will be accommodated in our cozy Youth House. You will stay in a twin room (2 single beds or 3 single beds). The meals will be volunteers responsibility: you will have a shared kitchen and receive monthly money dedicated to this (5 EUR – food allowance/day) and pocket money too (4 EUR/day). You will be picked up from the airport or train or bus station toYouth House after your arrival and you will receive a subscrition for public transportation.
