Portugal: ESC: Intercultural Horizons in Clube

Presentation of the programme

The host and coordinator association of this volunteering project is Clube Intercultural Europeu. Clube is a non-profit association that has been working since 1998 in the fields of youth, formal and non-formal education, European mobility and employability. Clube is working with community-based social intervention projects as well as international projects in neighbourhoods characterized, in general, by a large cultural diversity, social exclusion and economical fragility.The volunteer will mainly help the Mobilities team, that works with Erasmus+ projects, in: accompanying groups during their European mobility (most of the groups hosted by Clube are from France and come either for professional internships or observational visits); organizing logistics, including searching for accommodation and internship placements; preparing linguistic animations using non-formal education methods with the mobility groups; creating and sharing content for Clube’s social media (Instagram & TikTok). 

About the accomodation

The activity plan will be adjusted according to the volunteer interests and capacities. Additionally, there will also be allotted time each week to develop their personal projects which enrich both the volunteer and the organization.
