KINITRO is a unique NGO that aims to provide inclusive and accessible education to youth from diverse backgrounds. Through non-formal and informal education methods, KINITRO promotes inclusion, diversity, and disability awareness. Our core program, "Labyrinth of Senses," has trained over 60,000 participants across 28 countries, fostering critical thinking, team spirit, and interaction between people with and without disabilities. What sets KINITRO apart is its comprehensive approach to training. We offer workshops on inclusion, diversity, and disability awareness, addressing the skills gap and promoting creativity through personalized learning and team-building activities. We also integrate ICT, new technologies, and digital competencies into their programs, utilizing VR technology to create awareness videos and bridging the digital divide. During the pandemic, KINITRO launched the KINITROnGO Academy, providing learners with opportunities to develop digital skills in areas such as social media campaigns, IT skills, team-building, climate change awareness, mental resilience, and project writing. This initiative has reached marginalized youth, rural communities, and individuals with disabilities, ensuring access to education in a safe and accessible environment. KINITRO's expertise extends to entrepreneurship, social rights, and equality workshops, empowering individuals with problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.

Join KINITRO in Athens for a 60-day European Solidarity Corps experience focused on community engagement, creativity and active citizenship. As part of KINITROnGO Academy, volunteers will help design, organise and facilitate inclusive community activities that bring young people together, encourage participation and strengthen social connection. You will contribute to planning activities and games, preparing events, welcoming participants and promoting KINITRO’s values of inclusion, solidarity and respect. Along the way, you will develop practical skills in project and event management, communication, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving while working in an intercultural environment.

Accommodation will be arranged by KINITRO in a safe, comfortable and accessible location close to the organisation in Moschato, Athens. Volunteers’ dietary needs, allergies and restrictions will be taken into account. KINITRO will provide practical support and information for local public transport, airport arrival/departure and transportation related to project activities.

Volunteers will receive an induction to KINITRO, the European Solidarity Corps and their roles, together with training in non-formal education, inclusion, communication, teamwork and event facilitation. They will receive ongoing guidance from the KINITRO team and individual mentor support. Regular reflection will help volunteers identify their learning outcomes and develop skills in project planning, leadership and communication. Learning will be documented through Youthpass/Europass.

The Participant profile: We are looking for motivated young people interested in community engagement, youth work, creativity, inclusion and active citizenship.
