In our work, we promote 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration and creativity. We work with refugees in Warsaw.Through the years, we have been working with youth from Warsaw and all over Poland. We support them in participating in international activities, creating their own national and international initiatives, and equipping them with the skills essential to the labour market (focusing on 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and creativity). We train young adults who want to become youth mentors, leaders and trainers by offering them international courses on such topics.Since 2022 our Foundation has run a refugee house (Dom Uchodźcy "Gościniec Wesoła") in Warsaw, Wesoła district https://www.facebook.com/profile.php id=100082802210553. We currently host 40 children and youth (with their mothers). Except for accommodation, we provide psychological support, development activities, support in entering the labour market and facilitate the integration process. At the moment, this is the primary target group we focus on.The Foundation coordinated the strategic partnership project Creative Playbook KA220 2021-1-PL01-KA220-YOU-000029256. Within the framework of the project, we are working on producing a publication which will include methods and tools to develop creativity among young people. This tool can be used directly by young people and youth workers in their daily work with young people.Creative Playbook can be downloaded here:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OfS05YnKdAeMPHJEkeVc9L3ewErpvE8d/viewOur organisation hosts European Solidarity Corps volunteers who carry out their volunteering project at Kindergarten number 151 in Sadyba, Warsaw.
If you like traveling actively, exploring places all over Poland, and enjoy working with children, are an empathetic person, and want to be an assistant to families of people with disabilities, this is the place for you.
We run a community center with activities for the local community (Gościniec). We also run a support program for families with disabled children: respite tourism. Volunteers will help out during trips for our beneficiaries. The trips will be organized all across Poland. In the meantime, volunteers will have activities in the community center at Warsaw, based on their interests and skills.
Volunteers will share a fully equipped flat at Mokotów district in Warsaw. Pocket money (6 EUR per day), full meals during activities and money for food (free time/weekends) and local transport costs are provided.
The Participant profile: Apart from trainings provided by the National Agency, we offer a wide variety of preparatory trainings to be an assistant of a person with a disability.Deadline: 01/09/2026 23:25
