The aim of the foundation is to support medical profession with the focus of fighting against cancer and promote social and economic development of all citizens in general and of those groups that are in a situation of vulnerability and exclusion. Objectives - fight against cancer within the focus on investigation, prevention and awareness raising, - sustainable rural development within the focus on environmental education, fight against the climate change and development of sustainable agriculture practices in rural areas and increasing capacity of local community and organisations, - protecting cultural heritage through recording endangered practices, skills and knowledge in Galicia, - entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship education through the facilitation virtual world transformation of young people in order to increase youth employability, inclusion of marginalised young people, supporting equal access and transition to labour market. Target Groups 1. Cancer patients and families, cancer survivals and cancer organisations, 2. Local communities and local authorities neighbouring with the assets of the foundation, 3. Young people with fewer opportunities and youth organisations, 4. Small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs. Programmes 1. Fight Against Cancer Programme 2. Solidarity Shores (SOLIDMAR) is a European Solidarity Corps project empowering young people to protect marine ecosystems and support fishing communities affected by climate change. The first volunteering team will bring together 30 young people from Spain, Portugal and Türkiye for 38 days in Cambados (Galicia, Spain). Volunteers will participate in coastal clean-ups, recycling initiatives and environmental awareness events. You will work alongside local fishers, learn about sustainable fishing practices, document traditional knowledge, and contribute to real solutions. 

The volunteers will be living a Pazo (Casa dos Maza, situated on a hill overlooking Ría de Arousa. The house offers comfortable accommodations for volunteers, featuring shared double or triple rooms that foster interaction among volunteers from various countries. The house features a shared kitchen, each bedroom has a private bathroom, outdoor area (such as a big garden, terrace).. 

The volunteers will receive on-the-job training from the host organisation team regarding to the activities and mobility. The volunteers have the right and obligation to attend following the pre-departure training.
