SEGE is an association with a Pan-Hellenic, non-profit nature and regards women engaged in business activities in Greece. SEGE provides to women entrepreneurs of Greece the environment to develop their businesses and themselves. Promotes youth entrepreneurship, improves recognition of their achievements and supports the growth of women-owned businesses through research and information. SEGE promotes ethics and morality in female entrepreneurship, while taking initiatives that demonstrate a sense of social responsibility. SEGE is active all over Europe and especially in the Mediterranean and Balkan area through it's participation in international and European projects. SEGE is active in improving and increasing the involvement of women in business activity by providing to them all the information and assistance that is needed to ease their career. SEGE has played a vital role in eliminating gender discriminations in the financial sector by promoting female entrepreneurial activity.Based on the latest report from UN ,achieving full gender equality, one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), could take close to 300 years if the current rate of progress continues, according to a report published on Wednesday by UN Women and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), that is if we do not actively invest time, and resources to change it. SEGE decided to apply for the quality label to be able to engage volunteers with the topics of gender equality.

This volunteering activity brings together young people from different European countries who are active in civil society organisations and members of the same network. Volunteers will work as a team to examine the situation of vulnerable groups in their countries and at EU level, drawing on existing research and their own experience. Through discussion, joint analysis and non-formal learning methods, they will exchange good practices, identify community needs and design joint initiatives that promote inclusion, equality and active participation. Volunteers will learn how EU policy priorities connect to local social challenges, while building skills in teamwork, critical thinking, intercultural communication and planning. Accommodation, food, local transport and pocket money are covered by the programme.

Accommodation will be provided in shared apartments, fully covered by the programme. Volunteers will receive a food allowance of 7 EUR per day, paid by bank transfer before their arrival. In addition, each volunteer will receive pocket money of 7 EUR per day, also paid by bank transfer before their arrival.

The activity is open to young people aged 18-30 from different European countries who are active in civil society issues. Participants should be motivated to work on social inclusion and the rights of vulnerable groups, interested in EU policies, and ready to work in an international team. They should be open to intercultural exchange and non-formal learning, and willing to share their own experience and the realities of their communities. No specific qualifications or prior volunteering experience are required.
