The CYA-Learning Center (CLC), founded in 2014 to teach English to local children, has grown from a simple bamboo classroom into a vibrant hub with modern classrooms, a library, and a computer center. Thanks to dedicated national and international volunteers, CLC now offers diverse learning opportunities alongside life-skill activities like gardening, soap-making, and renovation projects that promote sustainability and community growth. CLC’s story is a powerful example of volunteerism and collaboration driving lasting change. Join us and be part of this journey—your time and skills can help create brighter futures and a lasting legacy of hope.

Join over 150 passionate volunteers from around the world each year and make a real difference in the lives of local children and youth! At CLC, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in diverse, meaningful activities, including:Teach English & Digital literacy: Help children and teenagers improve their English skills through fun, interactive lessons.Lead Creative Workshops: Share your knowledge through soap-making, public speaking, personal development, and self-discipline workshops.Promote Health & Morality: Teach essential life lessons on hygiene, health, and moral values.Cultural Exchange: Dive into Cambodian culture by participating in local traditions, festivals, and cooking activities with the community.School Improvement: Take part in renovating school facilities, painting classrooms, and enhancing learning spaces.Organize Study Trips: Plan and accompany students on exciting educational field trips.Cook & Share Meals: Prepare and enjoy meals with CLC children, creating special connections through food.Volunteering at CLC is more than just teaching—it's a journey of friendship, cultural exchange, and community impact. Whether you’re leading a workshop, renovating classrooms, or simply sharing stories, every moment you spend here leaves a lasting legacy.

Volunteers will stay together in a shared volunteer house located inside the CYA-Learning Center, creating a warm community atmosphere. There is no chef— volunteers will be divided into small cooking teams, taking turns to prepare meals, serve, clean, and wash dishes. It’s a fun way to share cultures, try new recipes, and enjoy meals together as part of the experience.

Techo International Airport is the nearest Terminal for volunteer applying for CYA - Learning Center project. The info-sheet with the detail arrangement of meeting point, transportation from airport - project site will be provided.

All volunteers will have free weekends to explore tourist attraction spots such as Teuk Chhou, Bokor National Park, Rabbit Island, and more. Since CLC is located in a spacious, remote area, your free time isn’t limited to travel—you can also engage with local people, teenagers, and children by organizing fun activities or cultural exchanges.

Bring your flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm to make the most of your weekends and free time!
