Our partner in this country is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to fostering international understanding and solidarity through voluntary service. They focus on empowering local communities, particularly in the areas of education and youth development. By facilitating intercultural exchanges, they aim to create a global network of active, engaged citizens who contribute to positive social change and mutual respect between cultures.

 Kindergarten curriculum is focused on the provision of educational stimulation to assist the growth and development ofmind and body so that the children are ready to enter further educational level.In Indonesia, Kindergarten start to be compulsory of early educational level as requirement of entering elementary school.Kindergarten school is divided into two groups. Group A and B. This grouping system is based on the age of students. Kindergarten is hosted students from 4 to 6 years old. The lessons are led to improve the childrens and raise their interest to learn knowledge through variety approaches such as tact value, social, religious, emotion, physical, motoric, cognitive, language, art and independence. All are developed in order to develop their intellectual and role in society.Supervising the children during school hours; Assisting local teachers in conducting the class; Organizing class activities together with local teachers; Introduction of Basic English to the children through interactive learning; Introduction volunteers culture through games, music, dance, or else.

The accommodation and food will be provided by a local host family or at dormitory (to be confirmed). The volunteer may have own or sharing room and the other facilities with other host family members. Facilities are simple and Indonesian style (no hot water, no washing machine).

You will be provided with three meals a day, typically shared with your host family. This is a wonderful opportunity to savour authentic Indonesian cuisine, which is known for its rich flavours and fresh ingredients. You can look forward to trying famous national dishes like Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Satay (grilled skewers with peanut sauce), and Gado-gado (vegetable salad with peanut sauce). Mealtimes are an important social event in Indonesia, offering a chance to bond with your hosts and practice your language skills.

The projects are located in various communities across Indonesia, an archipelago nation of incredible diversity. This approach allows volunteers to gain a broader understanding of the country's multifaceted culture and social landscapes. To ensure a dynamic and enriching experience, you may have the opportunity to contribute to more than one project location during your stay. This provides a unique chance to see different aspects of Indonesian life, from bustling towns to more rural settings, particularly on the island of Java.

During your free time, Indonesia offers a wealth of opportunities for exploration and adventure. You can immerse yourself in the country's rich history by visiting world-renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Borobudur and Prambanan temples. For nature lovers, there are countless chances to hike volcanoes, relax on beautiful beaches, or explore lush rice paddies. You can also wander through vibrant local markets, learn the traditional art of Batik making, or simply enjoy the hospitality of the local people.

No piercing on face, no visible tattoo, common hair style (nocolorful, dreadlock) and Certificate Good Conduct from the police (ifjust in case needed). The volunteer should love to work withchildren, open minded, be mature, respectful of local customs,tolerant, creative, flexible, patient, confidence and independentespecially in motivating the students to speak up and be active inpracticing conversation . Never been found guilty in a criminal casein volunteer’s home country or in another country. Strictly prohibitedposses narcotics, marijuana, opium, stimulants or other drugs.
