About the local hosting organizationOne of the biggest challenges for Europe today is the forced migration, and the numbers of refugees are rapidly growing. The European Union and its’ labor market were not prepared enough for the Social Inclusion of the vast number of refugees, which is threatening the stability of local communities and economies. Societies are being polarized and the growth of right-wing extremism is creating another threat for European democracies. The study camp will take place in Thessaloniki, that have a rich history of hosting refugees. This camp will focus on the actual situation with refugees, through clear connection with the past. This collected data at the end will be used as the material for final video and exhibition of the PATH project. The language of the study camp will be English, but when it is needed to contact with locals who do not speak English, greek volunteers will help.
