About the volunteer workTACT 3.0: Teenagers – Active Citizens of Tomorrow is IJGD project which is running for the third time, since 2015. It is designed as an educational programme. Workcamp Youth Exchange in Fulda, which is part of this project, was designed for the teenagers age 16-18 years, coming from Germany, Serbia, France and Belgium. Participants will have their days divided into two. In the mornings, they will be spending their time with teenagers who are visiting the youth centre in Fulda and together with them take part in creative workshops, learning on different forms of street art, theatre, making music and so on. In the afternoons, participants will have organized workshops, which will be dealing with intercultural learning, creative expression, social inclusion and active citizenship.
Local accommodationParticipants will be staying at the youth centre in Fulda, which is located very close to the city centre. Youth centre is newly constructed venue, which has all the facilities for the creative workshops, recording studio, art supplies, theatre stage, etc. Participants will be sharing the sleeping space. Participants will be in charge of preparing the food for each other for breakfast and dinner, while for the lunch, there will be provided professional cook, who will be preparing the meals.
About the project locationFulda is an old town in central Germany, located approx. 1h by train from Frankfurt.
RequirementsThis project is only open to participants from Belgium (CBB), France (CONCF), Serbia (YRS) und Germany (IJGD).
