You will work in a team with French volunteers for the whole period, supported by your coordinator. This project aims to raise awareness of natural and built heritage, which also vehicles social connections and to promote interculturality. This project is based on a strong moment: the host of three teams of European volunteers during the summer period. Through the workcamps, you will make heritage more accessible to young people and to the population, in order to develop an interest to its conservation and to create connections between the cultural diversities of the European communities.

The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
