информация о местного партнераVirVolt stands for International Volunteers Village. For two years, the association has been settled in the heart of nature, in the middle of a regional park. Welcoming young people from all over the world, getting to know each other and enriching ourselves through our differences; reflecting and acting together for environmental protection; having a positive impact on the places and the people living around the site or simply passing through... This is the project of this future village, which is built every year thanks to the young people who come to contribute, placing solidarity at the centre of their actions. Living in yurts, tipis, and caravans, with a permaculture garden, water-saving methods, waste reduction, and recycling— this little village that is destined to grow respects its natural surroundings and experiments with eco-responsible practices. Participating in this project means contributing to the evolution of a unique and original place; it means taking an active part in the construction of new solidarity-based spaces and ecological initiatives; it means engaging for the benefit of a society that is more respectful of humans and nature.

информация о работе волонтераDuring this workcamp, you will participate in the creation of a new reading space in the garden of the Ballancourt media library. The Ballancourt media library has a small piece of abandoned garden covered in brambles. During this project, you will transform this space into a new reading area intended for the village children. You will build wooden benches and tables, as well as decorative elements, so that residents and children can read in a pleasant, friendly, and ecological environment.

жилище на местеIn single-gender collective tents (yurts, tipis, Canadian tents) at the host site; please bring a sleeping bag. The accommodation site has single-gender toilets and showers, as well as a space with a kitchen. Food is provided, and meals are prepared by the volunteers in turns.

You will participate in organizing activities with local youth. Leisure activities will be organized collectively according to the possibilities and the available budget.

информация о местного партнераThe camp is made in collaboration with the association ALA. Since 2009, ALA association has been working to develop the rural area where it is based, revitalizing the spaces it occupies. Over the years, it has transformed abandoned structures into vibrant community hubs, welcoming both locals and international youth, who have been an integral part of the renovation process. The mountains play a central role in the community, serving for years as a space of active work aimed at making them more accessible through trail cleaning and marking. Through non-formal education and a learning by doing approach, the association offers a place to explore and challenge ourselves, discover our limits, and celebrate our strengths.

информация о работе волонтераThe workcamp will focus on restoring the mountain hut and its surroundings, while also supporting the organization of an annual May 1st music festival. Participants will engage in hands-on tasks, contributing to both the upkeep of the space and the logistics of a public event. The first part of the camp will involve a variety of maintenance activities, from artistic and painting projects to wood collection and manual work, allowing room for creativity and responding to the immediate needs of the site. The second part will focus on festival preparation, with participants helping in logistics, cooking, setting up the space, and organizing workshops. Volunteers will work for 7 hours a day, with two rest days during the project.

жилище на местеRifugio Cognolo is a charming mountain hut featuring three main areas: a fully equipped kitchen, a multipurpose room, and a covered patio. The hut is off the grid, with electricity provided by solar panels, and does not have Wi-Fi. Facilities include two bathrooms, one of which is an outdoor dry toilet, and solar-heated showers. The indoor spaces will be primarily used by staff for cooking and as shelter in case of rain, while volunteers will sleep in tents in the camping area surrounding the hut. Please note that, considering the season, it is essential to bring appropriate equipment, such as a thermal sleeping bag, to stay comfortable during colder nights. Volunteers will take an active role in managing the space, including cleaning and meal preparation, through organized cooking and cleaning shifts. They will have access to a pantry and will plan and prepare weekly menus, taking into account allergies, dietary preferences, and nutritional needs.

информация о месте проектаRifugio Cognolo sits at 1000m above sea level in the Sabine Mountains, near the village of Casperia. It is reachable by a moderately challenging 2.5 hour hike, offering volunteers the chance to fully immerse themselves in a setting far removed from everyday life, surrounded by beech forests and breathtaking mountain views. The camp is located in Bassa Sabina, about an hour away from Rome, a rural region defined by the striking contrast between rugged mountain ranges, gentle rolling hills, and the fertile plains of the Tiber River valley with olive groves, vineyards, and small hillside villages dotting the landscape. Due to the relative isolation of the mountain hut, visits to Rome or other nearby towns will not be possible during the workcamp.

условия преэктаThe camp takes place at 1000m, it is accessible by hiking and takes volunteers to immerse themselves in a dimension outside the usual. It requires a high sense of adaptation, the ability to disconnect from digital devices and an internet connection, desire to disconnect from everyday life to connect with a life more in relationship with the people one has around and nature. Be ready to become part of a local small community. Be open minded. Please note that, considering the season, it is essential to bring appropriate equipment, such as a thermal sleeping bag, to stay comfortable during colder nights. This project is supported by the European Solidarity Corps. Food and accommodation are covered by the European Union. Transportation costs will be refunded according to the distance band rules of the programme. No fees are required. The workcamps are open for volunteers coming from ESC programme countries.

Accompanied by our supervisory team, you will live in the heart of the two municipalities, sharing daily life with our international volunteers on site and the residents of Molières and Puycornet.

информация о работе волонтераImmerse yourself in the municipalities of Molières and Puycornet, where you will take part in a workcamp dedicated to enhancing the Pont du Vert, an old structure dating back to the 12th century. Now partially collapsed and heavily overgrown with vegetation, this bridge requires special attention in order to stabilize and preserve it. Working in small groups and under the guidance of the municipality's technical supervisors, you will restore the structure — both its upper part and its façades — by reinforcing it and removing the invasive plants (grasses, brambles and shrubs) that are currently weakening it. As you will be working on a centuries-old monument that requires agility and caution, we are looking for serious participants. All safety measures will be put in place by the municipal teams to ensure optimal working conditions. Point of attention: some areas of the bridge are elevated (max. 4 m). At the same time, you will be working in pairs and on a rotating basis to take responsibility for the camp kitchen. You will have the rewarding task of preparing a balanced, seasonal meal for the whole group. This workcamp will be a fantastic opportunity to meet young people from across Europe and around the world, share cultures and enjoy each other's company. So, take the Royal Road and join Citrus on this workcamp, which will immerse you in the local heritage.

жилище на местеYou will be accommodated in bungalows at the municipal campsite of Molières, which is very close to the worksite. Mattresses and pillows will be provided; you only need to bring your own sleeping bag. As with all Citrus workcamps, cooking is an integral part of the experience. It is an essential social moment that fosters collective living and enables you to develop skills beyond those required at the worksite. Special attention will be given to seasonal and local produce. Please note that meat will not be served every day; we plan two meat-based meals per week. Specific dietary requirements can be discussed with the group leaders.

информация о месте проектаMolières, a municipality in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne, located 17 km from Caussade and 80 km from Toulouse. Leisure: On the edge of the Tarn-et-Garonne region, you will enjoy a variety of leisure activities: visits to medieval villages, hiking, etc. Some of these activities will give you the chance to meet local residents and share this experience with them. In the evenings and at weekends, let your imagination run wild and organize gatherings with large games, a folk dance, or musical moments. Finally, what could be better than organizing a large international meal open to everyone, to share the culinary specialties of your country with the local residents and passing visitors?

информация о местного партнераWorldwide Friends (WF) is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 with the mission to promote nature conservation, intercultural understanding, and peace through volunteer activities in Iceland. In 2026, our focus will be on climate action, community resilience, and sustainable lifestyles — empowering participants to take meaningful action in their daily lives and local communities. WF organizes a variety of programs, including international workcamps, seminars, local community projects, and exchange programs, open to both young people and adults who wish to make a positive impact while experiencing Iceland's unique culture and natural beauty.

информация о работе волонтераThe renovation team will carry out essential repairs, maintenance, and improvement tasks to support the community in the Bordeyri area. Activities include, but are not limited to: - Painting interior walls and creating murals - Laying new floors - Replacing doors and windows - Installing or renovating playgrounds - Insulating walls and improving energy efficiency - Performing gardening and landscaping tasks - Supervising or assisting others in these roles All activities are carried out with safety as a priority, ensuring a secure environment for participants and the community. The renovated houses and facilities will be used for local community purposes, providing long-term benefits to Bordeyri residents. This project is ideal for participants interested in hands-on work, construction, and community development, contributing directly to the revitalization of this rural Icelandic community. Work will depend on weather conditions, so flexibility is essential. Working hours are approximately 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. As the Icelandic saying goes: “If you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes—it might change.“

жилище на местеVolunteers will stay at the Worldwide Friends house in Brú, which can accommodate up to 30 people. The house features 12 double rooms, several bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, common areas, workshop rooms, and galleries. Wireless internet access and a washing machine are available for all volunteers. Food is included for the duration of the work camp. Volunteers are expected to share responsibilities for cooking and cleaning. Meals are well-balanced and healthy, featuring whole grains, seasonal fruits and vegetables, pantry staples, and dairy products. Vegetarian diet encouraged.

информация о месте проектаWorldwide Friends Iceland is running a center of Environment & Sustainability near the crossroads to the West, South, and North of Iceland. The center is called BRíš, and it is located in Hrutafjordur which is 36 km long fjord in Hunathing vestra, on the R1. Keep in mind that is a 1-hour drive to the closest city (Borganes). Based just off the main road, we are not set in a town, therefore the only way to get around is by car. Brú's stunning surrounding countryside offers the perfect tonic to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Around the house, you can find a lot of pure and unspoiled nature, waterfalls, rivers, canyons, and craters. The purpose of the center is to protect nature in the area and to raise awareness of sustainability among the locals and the visitors who are coming to the area. The area nearby is great for hiking. The best time to see aurora borealis in Iceland is between September and April. It's when the nights are dark enough to see the Aurora. Iceland only gets 2-4 hours of daylight in midwinter, providing endless opportunities to hunt for aurora borealis. We will also concentrate on intercultural learning and exchange. Every evening, volunteers from different countries will be in charge of presenting their country of origin and culture in an informal way. It can be a presentation, a game, or theatre – the form of introduction is up to you! Therefore, we encourage you to bring along some food, photos, or anything interesting related to your country for a fun and informative evening amongst other volunteers. WF Iceland will organize reasonably-priced weekend excursions to some of the most popular, beautiful areas and natural wonders that Iceland has to offer. Excursions include unique Icelandic sights, such as waterfalls, volcanic and geothermal areas, glaciers, lava forests, hot springs, rhyolite mountain ranges, steam vents, or even icebergs. This workcamp allows you to spend an amazing time in Iceland with other international volunteers and to have an incredible experience where participants share their knowledge while exploring creativity, environmental issues, and intercultural learning.

условия преэктаPlease make sure to bring: - Warm outdoor work clothes suitable for Icelandic weather - Waterproof gear (jackets, pants, boots) - Personal protective equipment as needed for renovation and outdoor work (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, helmets)

дополнительная информация проектаThe first day of the camp is Arrival Day and the last day of the camp is Departure Day. The minibus will be at the meeting point in Reykjavik on the first day of the workcamp in the morning and arrive again at the Meeting point / BSí Bus Terminal in Reykjavik in the evening on the last day of the workcamp. Keep in mind that you need to arrange for your stay in Iceland before and after the workcamp.

информация о местного партнераYour host will the Open-Air Theatre Heidenheim, the 2nd largest one of its kind in Southern Germany. It is situated on the “castle hill“ of the town of Heidenheim an der Brenz, surrounded by forests, and can accommodate up to 1100 spectators. It is run by a non-profit association that also serves as a community center for people of all ages with many services and activities available. The space is managed by the association's staff, but much of the work is carried out by volunteers who are part of the theater. Every summer, they host around 1,500 spectators every Friday and Saturday for the youth play and the adult play, which together require more than 100 volunteer actors. It is a genuine community effort and a source of pride for both Heidenheim and the theater's members. They are very excited about hosting again a group of international volunteers. This project is perfect for everyone who is interested in theatres and wants to have a look behind the scenes! Have a look at the Theatre here: www.naturtheater.de

информация о работе волонтераThis year, you will help with the set construction. You will screw, nail, and paint. Smaller props will need to be built, too. Apart from that, your work will also entail doing: • Sawing wood • Assembling wood with a cordless screwdriver • Painting stage elements • Organizing wooden shelving storage • Raking leaves • Collecting waste wood from the forest • Paving bicycle parking area • Sort out props / repair items that need fixing. • Prepare the service area for the season: • Set up tables, chairs, umbrellas, etc. • Prepare the spectator hall There will be a professional work instructor who helps you with all tasks. For sure it is helpful though, if you have a bit of experience in manual/constructional work and have used tools like cordless screwdrivers before.

жилище на местеYou will be accommodated directly on the project site. Next to the stage, there is a large building that includes administrative offices, a workshop, and a café. You will have one big room to yourselves with beds; everything will be prepared for you, and you can divide the space using fabric privacy screens. Showers and toilets are available in the same building. The kitchen and common area are located in the youth room of the community center. It is a very cozy space with many games available, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Laundry options are available, though limited. Regarding food, you will need to cook for yourselves and take care of all related tasks (grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning afterward).

информация о месте проектаHeidenheim an der Brenz is a town with a bit less than 50.000 inhabitants in the southern region of Baden-Württemberg. The area is rather rural with a beautiful countryside: since it is at the end of the Swabian Albs – a mountain range of about 220km-, there are many hills and forests. Also in the town you will find the Hellenstein Castle, first built on the 12th century, and Wildlife Park with around 100 animals, very close to your project. If you would like to visit a larger town, you may go to Ulm which is only 30km away. Stuttgart and Munich are just about 2 hours by train.

информация о местного партнераThe Fedasil reception centre for asylum-seekers in Sugny hosts people who have applied for asylum in Belgium. They have fled situations of war, persecution, discrimination or environmental disasters and hope, with this application, to get a refugee status that will allow them to reside legally in the country. Before being able to settle in Belgium and build their future there, they must therefore wait for their refugee status to be proven and granted through a long administrative process. During this time, they are hosted in this centre. Always waiting, the residents of the centre live in uncertainty about the future and are sometimes subject to significant stress. Individual situations are multiple and complex, but never easy. Life at the Fedasil centre of Sugny reflects these individual dramas and the hopes of the residents. More information: https://www.facebook.com/FedasilSugny/?locale=fr_FR

информация о работе волонтераThe aim of this project is both to improve the quality of the residents' stay in the center and to encourage exchanges between volunteers and residents, but also between residents. The residents are not a homogeneous group: they have different ages, nationalities, religions, lifestyles and life stories; there are sometimes major cultural differences between them. The volunteers will work in several teams, which will likely be joined by residents of the center. On the one hand, they will participate in maintaining the residents' living environment (gardening and outdoor work, building benches, decorating a mural, DIY projects, tidying up, etc.). On the other hand, they will propose and participate in activities with the residents (numerous cooking workshops, sports, themed evenings, etc.), particularly with the children. As the project takes place during school holidays, the children will indeed be present at the center. Feel free to bring your ideas of activities.

жилище на местеYou will be accommodated in the center, in a mixed dormitory with bunk beds. The toilets and showers are located in a separate building. You can store your valuables in the dormitory (which your group will have a key to) or in the staff kitchen. You will eat with the residents the food prepared by the center. On some days, you will eat the food that you prepared yourselves during the cooking workshops with the residents. You will share the same living conditions as the residents, which are very basic

информация о месте проектаSugny is a small, isolated village in southern Belgium close to the French border. By choosing this workcamp, you are choosing to live in nature. All around are fields, woods and small villages. But there's no shortage of entertainment options: football pitches, basketball courts, etc. During the weekend, depending on what you decide, you can organize cultural visits and travel to some of Belgium's biggest cities. CAUTION: this is a very isolated area.

условия преэктаA specific form is required to be filled in to be accepted.

дополнительная информация проектаThe consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the center.

информация о работе волонтераVolunteers will share their time between animation of the center's residents (especially the children and teenagers living there) and maintaining the center's outside areas, including its vegetable garden. Some examples could be: group games, creative and artistic workshops, board games, walking excursions, going to the swimming pool, sports, movies, cultural visits, ... The children are between 3 and 12 years old. However, it is impossible to predict in advance the number and ages of children who will be staying in the center at the time of the project. The children speak French. The teenagers are between 13 and 17 years old. Some arrived in Belgium alone, without family members. Some of the teenagers are also mothers. It is also possible for the volunteers to offer some activities for adults living in the center, but the children and teenagers have priority. The volunteers will receive the support of the center's animation team, who's used to work with volunteers every summer. However, they will have some autonomy to offer their own activity ideas. Outdoor maintenance: The other half of the time, volunteers will work outside to make the center's environment more pleasant for residents. For example, they will plant and sow flowers, remove weeds, or help out in the center's vegetable garden.

жилище на местеVolunteers will sleep in a mixed dormitory with bunk beds, in an annex building. Toilets are located in the same building, but for showers, volunteers will have to go to the main building.
