Presentation of the programmeWelcome to our six-week Nature Community - Volunteering Team - in Summer of 2024. Volunteering in the Nature Community offers a transformative experience where individuals immerse themselves in a communitarian way of life and work. Tasks will range from preparing events we host, helping with renovations, working in the permaculture garden project, contributing to our vegan kitchen and taking on smaller tasks for our community members. Experienced individuals from our community will guide you to promote social integration, support group dynamics and personal growth. In the liveliness of our project, numerous practical and social learning experiences await you. We aim to maintain a safe environment, free from alcohol or substance intoxication, throughout the volunteering period. Additionally, we ask for your reliability; we seek committed participants who won't drop out at the last minute. Looking forward to your involvement! http://www.nature-community.de

Local accommodationOur eco village is located in a remote area of Bavaria close to the Czech border and far away from city infrastructure. Accommodation will be arranged mainly in shared 3-bed-rooms in our guest house. Meals are vegan, 100% organic and shared and prepared together with our community. Your Travel costs will be reimbursed upon submission of travel tickets after the activity. Please remember to keep all the original travel tickets and bring them to Nature Community. Find more Information about our Project on www.nature-community.de.

About the leisure activities possibleIn our regular group sessions, we playfully utilise social tools to promote individual personality development and authenticity. We enhance communication skills among participants, address internal and external conflicts constructively, and cultivate an increased, authentic vitality for both ourselves and the group.

RequirementsThe Participant profile: We are looking for open-minded volunteers to join our vibrant, multi generational community-project of about 80 members, for six weeks. If you enjoy exploring new things and are flexible to contribute in various areas – whether it's gardening, renovations, or kitchen tasks – this opportunity might be for you. Please note that we exclusively offer vegan meals during the stay. We value an open mindset for personal growth, reflective abilities, and perseverance.
Deadline: No application deadline

Extra info about the projectThe project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
