Descriptions :

Presentation of the programmeFundacja FREE (Foundation for the Development of Empathetic Education) is all about reimagining learning through empathy, creativity, and connection! We support children and youth—including those with special educational needs and disabilities—to grow at their own pace in a warm, welcoming space where peers learn together, explore, and simply have fun.

Local accommodationWe champion homeschooling by bringing teachers, therapists, parents, and youth together. Instead of rigid schooling, we focus on hands-on activities, creative workshops, specialist support, and discovering individual passions.

About the leisure activities possibleAs a vibrant hub for European solidarity, intercultural exchange, and non-formal education, we believe volunteering is about real human connection and social inclusion. If you want to make a genuine impact, inspire kids, and be part of an open-minded, supportive community that puts empathy first—welcome to FREE!

Extra info about the projectThe project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
