Description:
About the local hosting organizationThe local municipality is planning to make improvements to local kindergartens and schools in the surroundings of this village. The group of construction workers needs help because they have a lot of important work to do for the social projects in the summer, but they don't have enough volunteers to help them. That's why we hold a work camp there every year. It's a great way to learn by doing, using craft tools, and seeing the children using the spaces you will renovate or construct.
Presentation of the programmeYour specific tasks willà be the construction of a recycling station and a sandbox for children at the indoor swimming pool as well as the creation and construction of raised beds for a kindergarten.
The work willà be led by a professionalà instructor, so no previous experience is needed. You willà work 30 hours per week, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday with a lunchbreak. You willà also be divided in smaller groups throughout the days to effectively complete the different tasks.
