Về hiệp hội địa phươngSEEDS volunteers will support the Reykjavík Municipality in the main outdoor skiing recreational areas of the capital region, at Bláfjöll (Blue Mountains). The main tasks focus on maintenance and preparation of the area for the summer and the next ski season. This includes maintaining slopes and trails by raking and scraping, general cleaning of the mountain areas, and collecting trash, debris, and natural waste. The municipality and several sports associations run lodges and mountain huts there and they may also need some renovation jobs, such as painting and/or cleaning. In addition, volunteers may assist with the maintenance of a local Bike Park and surrounding outdoor areas, including cleaning slopes and green areas, mowing grass, repairing and improving walking and biking paths.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênThe work is hands-on, physically demanding, and carried out outdoors, often on uneven terrain. Volunteers should be motivated to work in raw and isolated mountain landscapes and be prepared for changing Icelandic weather. No previous experience is required; instructions and tools are provided. Flexibility, good physical condition, and a positive team spirit are essential, as tasks and schedules may change due to weather. Volunteers will gain practical experience in outdoor and environmental maintenance, contribute to community recreational areas, work in an international team, and spend time in nature while supporting local projects. A typical working day starts in the morning after breakfast. Work usually lasts 7–8 hours per day, including breaks. Lunch is taken together, either outdoors or at the accommodation. After work and during weekends, volunteers have free time to relax, explore the area, for social activities, cultural exchange, games, or group time. The camp takes place around the summer solstice, when the sun barely sets and nights are almost as bright as the days. Volunteers will have the opportunity to experience the midnight sun, making it unique and memorable.

Về chỗ ởSEEDS volunteers will stay in one of the lodges in the mountains and sleep in a shared dormitory. Please bring your own sleeping bag. facilities are basic with an equipped kitchen, dining and living room, bathroom, shower and a washing machine. Volunteers will receive food supplies and will be in charge of cooking and cleaning. Please note the food SEEDS provides will be vegetarian. Do not forget to bring some traditional/typical food, drinks, recipes, music, games or movies from your country for the intercultural evening. Please be aware some items or ingredients may be expensive in Iceland and you will need to buy them yourselves or bring them from your country.

Về dự ánThe skiing areas of Bláfjöll are about 40 minutes drive from the city. The location is remote and isolated, even though it is still close to the city. The Blue Mountain range is situated near the ring road and stretches from the capital area to the south-western lowlands, the highest mountain reaching 600 m. The area has great slopes for downhill skiing and snowboarding as well as tracks for cross-country skiing. The areas are excellent for recreation, not only for alpine and cross country skiing, but for other outdoor activities as well such as hiking and mountain biking. Nature lovers are certain to find something to their liking, but it is important to be careful crossing the rugged lava fields because of the numerous caves underneath.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc Participation fee EUR 300 (Euros). The fee can either be transferred in advance via bank transfer, or paid for on arrival. The fee includes the transport from Reykjavík to the campsite and back (on the first and last day of the camp).

【About this Journey】 Today, walking along the Yenping Historical Street, you can see 142 decorated historical houses in total. Most of them were built more than 90 years ago. A century ago, Yenping Street was the “downtown” with prosperity, but nowadays, as business gradually declined, the residents moved away from Xiluo and Yenping Street have become quieter. As a result, many houses have started to decay. Because of the "Community Renaissance" movement conducted by Luoyoung Foundation and local government, the street becomes prosperous again! In the past 9 years, we have invited many cultural groups and artists to visit and stay in Xiluo, and host different performances. At the same time, we are committed to promoting the art of sculpture and reserve more than 40 pieces of public art for Xiluo. They are arranged at the head of the Grand Xiluo Bridge and the Sculpture Park. We also hosted 11 international work camps focusing on renovating heritage houses. However, there are many sculptures that need to be refurbished, painted, maintained, and guaranteed. We hope to promote the transformation of Xiluo Bridge into a sculpture art gallery to prevent the sculptures from being worn out. Now, we have also established community colleges to help residents better understand local culture and keep up with international standards.Welcome to make friends with students from community colleges, Artistic creation ,teach English in elementary school, high school, or Yunlin Community College in Xiluo, and experienced traditional Taiwanese culture. Về hiệp hội địa phươngProjectThis project is organized for local children by The Language School In Down-Town and the non-profit educational association Alternative Language Programs Satellite (ALPS) as part of their annual activities on multicultural issues for youth. Some international teenage participants may join. The common project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to children and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication using the learning-by-doing method and organizing alternative English language practice. The project gets youngsters familiar with customs and traditions of the countries from all over the world and encourages them to develop their cross-cultural thinking and tolerance as well as global thinking and individual initiative. This summer we offer you to participate in our project called LANDSCAPES . We invite volunteers to support our camp participants learning about a new trend of ecosystems in nature, society, technologies, economy, politics and human relationships. Together, we plan to find out how these complex deeply interwoven ecosystems shape the way we live, learn and thrive, and what those competences are that empower humans to understand, navigate, and positively influence them. Camp participants will try to develop their strategies for a holistic, interconnected view of the world and gain ideas on how not just to survive in a complex world - but to help reshape it toward greater justice, sustainability, and flourishing for all life. Meetings with local and/or international professionals in the field will take place. In this project, you will also experience some of the quieter sides of the city that only a few people get to see. You are actively engaged in the preservation of the culture of remembrance. Specifically, you are dedicated to the repair and maintenance of graves of victims of war and tyranny (German and non-German soldiers and civilians) at the state-owned cemetery in Berlin-Heiligensee war gravesite. This workcamp is an opportunity to get to know the heritage of the past and learn more about how to promote a culture of peace through memorialisation and remembrance. You and your team will help, among other things, to renew and clear grassy areas, as well as clean grave markers and concrete frames.

Về chỗ ởYou will cook together. Money for food will be provided. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please state any intolerances during registration. Please Note: Self-organization is also a key point of the camp during your daily camp routines. Shopping, cooking, and cleaning are all planned and done independently within the group. The advantage is, of course, that you will have the opportunity to eat international dishes and cuisine at every meal and realize that cleaning yourselves can lead to a great deal of fun in the group.

Về dự ánYou will be accommodated at Gruppenhaus Zeltlagerplatz Heiligensee, Berlin (more infos here: https://zev-berlin.com/gruppenhaus/) At the accommodation you can make yourselves comfortable and enjoy a great time together slightly outside of the buzz of the big city. Your accommodation is also a great place to calm down and chill after an active day. In order to be able to pursue the diverse interests of your group, you will be provided with a city ticket for the duration of the camp, which will allow you to use public transportation throughout the city. If Berlin isn't enough for you, you can also get to other cities like Potsdam and Dresden super quickly or take a day trip to the Baltic. You will cook together. Money for food will be provided. Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc Participants should be fit enough for physical work outside. If you plan on exploring Berlin alone or with other friends, please plan to stay a bit longer after the workcamp. The 50€ extra fee is for the public transport (Berlin city ticket)

Các thông tin khácEven if the workcamp takes place in Berlin, this is not a vacation and you are not a tourist. As in many other European countries, there are unfortunately also racist, anti-Semitic and discriminatory incidents in Germany. Về hiệp hội địa phươngJugendhof Bessunger Forst e.V. is a non-profit children's and youth centre and one of the oldest self-managed establishments in Germany. Situated in the forest on the outskirts of the city of Darmstadt, we maintain the tradition of a place of learning and leisure close to nature and life with down-to-earth, resource-saving accommodation. For over forty years, groups of children, young people and adults, families, clubs and political initiatives have been coming together here and finding plenty of space to learn, run around, play, relax, meet, develop or simply be outdoors and be together. In spring and summer, we open the “ForstLove Café“ on Sundays with a colourful musical programme. Day trippers, city travellers and fresh air fans can relax here in the green idyll of the large grounds. Our offer is aimed in particular at families and people on low incomes and the appreciation of heterogeneity and diversity is very important to us. You can find Jugendhof on the Internet: jugendhof.org.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênOnce again this year, a craft project will be the focus of the work camp. Together, we will plan and implement practical construction projects for the site, such as building furniture for the group accommodation or constructing ramps and other structural elements to make the centre more accessible. This involves sawing, drilling, screwing and hammering –under expert guidance and with professional tools and machines. No previous craftsmanship skills are required; what is important is an interest in practical work, team spirit and the desire to create something lasting together. Depending on the course of the project, the group may also become socially active. This means that individual craft projects will not only take place at the youth centre, but may also benefit other inclusive projects and initiatives in the neighbourhood. In this way, your work will support local institutions or groups and contribute to strengthening inclusive structures in a very concrete way. We are delighted that a group of young people from the region with different disabilities and abilities will be part of the project. Together with the international volunteers, we are forming small teams that can support each other, learn from each other and grow together in the tasks. These mentorships enable an inclusive exchange in which everyone can contribute their individual strengths. Our aim is to create an open and respectful atmosphere in which all participants can actively take part in the work camp and gain new experiences.

Về chỗ ởThe volunteers live in our centrally located self-catering house ‘Sharewood Lodge’. In addition to a spacious kitchen and two bathrooms, there are three bedrooms in the house, each with five beds (maximum six). In general, the buildings on the extensive grounds allow for all-day outdoor living.

Về dự ánRegion: Jugendhof Bessunger Forst e.V. is located on the edge of the forest between the city of Darmstadt and the village of RoíŸdorf. The suburban area marks the transition from the Rhine-Main region to the Odenwald low mountain range and is located 30 kilometres south of Frankfurt am Main and 50 kilometres north of the picturesque city of Heidelberg. Leisure time: The Jugendhof is located on the edge of the Bessunger Forest, which is easy to explore from here. On hot summer days, the shady forest offers a good opportunity to cool off and the wide-open meadows invite you to enjoy a relaxing picnic. You can enjoy meetings in a wooden yurt, which was built from an international workcamp as well. An hour's walk through the woods and meadows takes you to a beautiful bathing lake with a small sandy beach. Darmstadt is also very interesting culturally, as it was one of the centres of European Art Nouveau at the beginning of the 20th century. The “Mathildenhöhe Artists Colony“ in Darmstadt has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021. We highly recommend a visit to the impressive and unique site, including the museum and the Orthodox chapel. Fancy more action? Then visit the climbing park high up in the trees with its very different levels of difficulty.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc After registration, we require a self-declaration in terms of legal protection for children and vulnerable persons. You will need working clothes, rainwear and if you like swimming gear as well as sturdy closed shoes. Since it can get very cold in the forest at night, even in summer, please bring warm clothes and don't forget your sunscreen. Bed linen will be provided by the house. Please bring your own towels.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngLandesforsten Mecklenburg-Vorpommern – Forstamt Schlemmin (State Forestry of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – Foresty office Schlemmin) The forestry offices of Landesforsten Mecklenburg-Vorpommern perform the tasks of a unified forestry administration: in addition to their forestry work in the state-owned forest and their service offers, this also includes their work as a lower forestry authority - advising and promoting private forest ownership. They also inform all forest visitors about the importance of the forest and the tasks of forestry. The ijgd has been organising volunteer service programmes since 1949. We are an independent, non-profit association for international youth work, a recognised independent youth welfare organisation, and one of the largest and oldest workcamp organisations in Germany. Each year, we assist around 5,000 young people into volunteer work in Germany and abroad. We give them the opportunity to be creative, act in solidarity, take responsibility for themselves, and discover their own true potential and strengths. Our principles: Ecological learning, voluntary contribution, self-organisation, social development, intercultural learning, gender equality, anti-racism/anti-discrimination and political education Follow us on Instagram ijgd_workcamps Facebook @ijgd.workcamps

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênForget the gym – we offer a real workout with a purpose! In the middle of one of Mecklenburg's most beautiful nature reserves, on the highest lake in the region, the Black Lake, there is an old wooden path that needs your help. Imagine: a mystical moor, surrounded by ancient beech forests and rare plants and animals. Right there, a hiking trail leads through it, slowly falling into disrepair. Your mission: 1. Get stuck in, because we'll be hauling, building and repairing the wooden boardwalk together. Every aching muscle is proof that you've achieved something! 2. Teamwork: You're not alone! We'll rock the project together, pave the way ourselves and see exactly what we've created. 3. Adventure: You'll be working in a place that others only visit for hiking. Pure nature, fresh air and a challenge you won't soon forget. At the end of the day, you will not only have a safe hiking trail with a new handrail, but also YOUR own work. You will have made a unique place accessible to everyone again. And you will also have learned a lot, because during the practical work, the foresters will tell you a lot about nature conservation and environmental protection in general, as well as the forest and its protection in particular. You will learn a lot about the local flora and fauna, its relevance to the ecosystem and the various measures taken to protect it. Are you ready to leave your mark (and not just in the mud)? Sign up and become part of the team! If you're still not convinced, here's some more factual information about your wonderful place of work: The Black Lake west of Schlemmin (Bernitt municipality) is located near Bützow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is part of the Hohe Burg and Black Lake nature reserve. The 110-hectare nature reserve is located in the glacial terminal moraine landscape. The lake is one to two metres deep, covers an area of 2.5 hectares and, at 108 metres above sea level, is the highest lake in Mecklenburg. The lake is completely surrounded by beech forests. The lake's 15-hectare silted-up moor is home to rare and endangered plant species such as round-leaved sundew and snake club moss. The area also provides a habitat for moor frogs, grass snakes, forest lizards, black woodpeckers, treecreepers, red-breasted flycatchers, badgers and numerous other species. Now convinced? Then join us and register now!

Về chỗ ởyou will be staying in a self-catering house with 2- and 4-bed rooms in Glambeck (near Bützow), 7 km away from your place of work. The house has a kitchen, two bathrooms with showers and toilets, and two common rooms for eating and group activities. There is a huge green outdoor area with a barbecue and campfire site and access to a lake. You cater for yourselves and cook together. Money for shopping will be provided. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please indicate any intolerances when registering.

Về dự ánIn your free time, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and your peaceful accommodation, engage in sporting activities in the huge garden of your accommodation, or spend evenings together by the lake or around the campfire. On the long weekend off (Friday to Sunday), it's worth taking a trip to Rostock, Hamburg or the beautiful sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc Fitness for physically strenuous work; It is essential to bring work clothes and (water)resistant footwear and/or work shoes

Các thông tin khácPlease note: There is a special Teenage Fee of 150€ for international volunteers who apply under 18 for this camp.
