Về hiệp hội địa phươngALA Associazione Liberi Artigiani – organization active since 2009, work to develop educational framework and workshops specializing in activities for youth and adults in the rural areas. The focus of its work is in Sabina, an agricultural area north of Rome ( 40km) where it has made local development and youth policies its main vocation. The methodology and the educational approach mixes non formal methods, art, creativity, and outdoor practices. PROJECT: The association works to build an idea of an inclusive educational community where everyone has the opportunity to find the space to express himself, outside of any judgment, social or political. On a daily basis it deals with youth aggregation, active citizenship, reception and receptivity, and local development for the purpose of sustainable tourism. This project takes place at Rifugio il Trio, a new space that the association is aiming to redevelop starting from the renovation of the spaces. This camp will be one of the first held in this facility and the restoration work will focus on restoring the dormitory areas. The management of a refuge is an act of care for this rural area, offering an active presence in the mountain area and facilitating access to the hinterland for everyone. The ordinary management of the refuge requires constant maintenance and renovation, which is why the camp focuses on this space, on the one hand offering volunteers the experience of living in a mountain refuge in its wildness and using this space as a place of experimentation were expressing one's creativity and rediscovering the value of manual skills and traditional knowledge.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênThe days will be structured by including a part of manual work and redevelopment and maintenance of the space and area. In particular, the main body of work will be aimed at restoring the dormitories. Volunteers will work around 5/6 hours a day. As always, there will be space to give vent to creativity and much more. Group life, shared management of cooking, cleaning and convivial moments including games, excursions and other experiences. This field requires a high sense of adaptation, the ability to disconnect from digital devices and the internet connection, the desire to disconnect from everyday life to connect with a life more in relationship with the people around you and nature. By joining this workcamp you will contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals: Reduce inequality -SDG10 and SustainableCommunities-SDG11

Về chỗ ởThe group is accommodated in a tent, in the camping area around the refuge. The shelter and the spaces inside are used by the staff for cooking and rain emergencies.Scarcity of resources, spartan accommodation, with shared bathrooms and outdoor showers. Cleaning and cooking will be managed by the volunteers themselves through cleaning/cooking shifts. The group will have access to a pantry based on which to build a weekly menu respecting allergies/intolerances and particular diets.

Về dự ánRifugio il Trio is located near Poggio Catino, a small village in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium. It is located about 50 kilometers northeast of Rome and about 20 kilometers southwest of Rieti. During their free time, volunteers could make some excursions, workshops and sports. TERMINAL: Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO) and then direct train to Poggio Mirteto or Rome Ciampino airport (CIA) and then bus connection to Rome Tuscolana and then train to Poggio Mirteto.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc Come with proper equipment and be ready to go hiking (trekking shoes, working clothes, etc...). Be ready to become part of a local small community. Be open minded. Về hiệp hội địa phươngThis project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming ohenro (pilgrims) who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago. The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting Kakurin-ji temple; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage locals are trying to find new ways for omotenashi (hospitality). Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land. Local host Oi have finally decided that they can freely renovate and modify the vacant houses. Moreover, the site is in a good location, with mountains, a river and fields. It is up to the volunteers from now on to decide how to develop the project. The aim is for the volunteer members to clean up the abandoned houses and village landscape and transform it into a village that people will want to visit to take photos, as it used to be a village where people came and went since ancient times.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngThis is the eighteenth year (since 2008) that SEEDS organises a series of International Photo marathons, while we started organising camps open for teenagers in the year 2010. Throughout the year, participants from all over the world come to Iceland for an immersive photography-related learning camp. SEEDS coordinators help the participants to develop their unique photographic skills through workshops and feedback sessions on technical settings, compositional considerations, as well as to create conceptual frameworks highlighting the participants\' individual style.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênParticipants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, walking around and exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant are selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS' social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods and laptops if possible. While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture by taking part in it, capturing it and also by displaying their work during the camp. One of our objectives is to empower young people to use photography to draw attention to environmental and cultural subjects and issues. Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible time schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.

Về chỗ ởSEEDS participants will stay in a house in Reykjavík. The facilities are basic with a kitchen, showers, and a washing machine. Everyone is expected to show consideration for their companions. Participants will sleep in shared rooms/dorms of up to 6 people. Please bring your own towel. Participants will receive food supplies and be in charge of the cooking and cleaning activities. Please note the food SEEDS provides will be vegetarian. Do not forget to bring some traditional/typical food, drinks, recipes, music or games from your country for the intercultural evening. Please be aware some items or ingredients may be expensive in Iceland and you will need to buy them yourselves or bring them from your country.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngThe Awareness, Engagement & Action project is part of a series of camps organised by SEEDS in cooperation with different partners, where we try to raise awareness about current environmental issues and encourage the volunteers to take action! One of our main goals for the next few years is to contribute to a nation-wide project aiming at cleaning up the Icelandic coastline. SEEDS works along and supports the Icelandic ministry for Environment and Natural Resources, the Icelandic Environmental organisation Landvernd, the Environmental Agency of Iceland, Umhverfisstofnun and other partners in order to draw attention to the issues of ocean pollution, plastic waste and to engage volunteers in cleaning up actions around the country. This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through non-formal educational activities such as workshops, discussions, presentations and visits, as well as to contribute directly to environmental protection by joining outdoor coastal cleanup tasks in the shores and beaches. Additional work will be undertaken in the area of our accommodation such as removing old fences dangerous to wildlife and visitors, as well as helping with renovation and maintenance of the house. We may also be marking some walking paths and, depending on the advance of the mentioned tasks, volunteers might do some forestry tasks in a small forest planted in the area, like trimming the vegetation or planting some trees.
