FAGAD's objective is the creation of a center which could host seminaries, training, and meetings in times of celebration for the youth. Work to be done: • Clean up the site; • Produce and collect bricks ; • Collect sand; • Construct walls.

Về dự ánLocation: Kpélé-Adéta is a town of some 15 146 inhabitants. It is the principal settlement of the Kpélé Préfecture and the headquarters of FAGAD are based there. It is situated on the cross roads Kpalimé – Atakpamé , Notsé – Danyi. There is a post office, and police commissariat and a medical – social center.T he nearest hospital is the American Baptiste hospital, 4 kms from Adeta. Leisure Cultural activities : Percussion (Djembé) and dance around the fire Day with a family; a day of immersion in the life of an African family organized around the following themes: animism, the election of the village chief, traditional marriage, or a day in the field.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngThis project is actively working on SDG2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG4 (Quality Education), and has been working with Ozuchi Village since 2013. Ozuchi Village was established by local people to preserve the original landscape. In 1916, there were 140 residents and 20 houses, but now only one person lives there. Fortunately, 10 houses remain and the village is designated as a national important traditional buildings preservation district. The village retains the landscape and lifestyle of old Japan that is no longer in existence. In order to preserve this place and culture, we are trying to improve the situation with the power of young volunteers. Since 2016, Ozuchi Village and NICE have started a monthly weekend work camp, and more than 200 volunteers visit the village every year, fall in love with the village, and participate as repeat visitors or support the village in whatever way they can! The local hosts hope to pass this village on to the next generation! *Outcome of this work camp: The village was abandoned, but one of the former villagers maintained the rice terraces and landscape. However, the work camp gave him such strength that he started living there again in 2018!

The project is located in Ozuchi village, a beautiful and isolated community nestled in the mountains of southwestern Ishikawa Prefecture. This region, situated on the coast of the Sea of Japan, is renowned for its stunning natural scenery, rich history, and traditional crafts. Historically, charcoal production was the main industry in the area.

During your free time, you will have plenty of opportunities to explore the local culture and landscape. You can enjoy exchange meetings with local people, go trekking in the surrounding mountains, cool off with river activities in the summer, or visit a nearby traditional hot spring (onsen). Depending on the season, you might also enjoy events like local festivals or fireworks. The project's location also serves as a gateway to Hakusan National Park, a paradise for hikers and nature lovers.

The organization will provide breakfasts, lunches and dinners. On top of that you get to know Iceland and its culture while having fun, exploring the city, its attractions and stunning nature, which you can experience in possible excursions. Participants should prepare to share environmental issues from their countries and be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances (up to 1,5 hours) during activities and sightseeing. Note this project is a learning/sharing camp and not a standard workcamp. This project has a smaller volunteer work part and puts a bigger emphasis on the personal learning process than on the community impact. SEEDS will organise a night photography and aurora hunting workshop in the city or in the vicinity of Reykjavík. Northern lights are a natural phenomenon depending on solar activity and meteorological conditions, so we cannot guarantee you will see northern lights, but the night photography workshop will be organised anyway.

One of our aims is to help create more environmentally aware consumers & travellers! You will visit local projects on environment and conservation. These may include hands-on activities or guided visits, such as outdoor cleanup tasks, a local fauna and/or flora exhibition or an Icelandic culture museum. Some of these activities are dependent on weather conditions, as on the availability of our partners. You will also have time to put the theory about photography into practice while exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant are selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS’ social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods and laptops if possible.

Here lie our goals for this future village, which each year, is built thanks to youths who come and contribute, with solidarity as their driving force. Vir'Volt also aims to become fully eco-friendly and sustainable which is also reflected in our campsite; yurts and tepees as rooms, permaculture farming and gardening, water saving projects, reducing, and reusing waste. This small village will become great without sacrificing or damaging the surrounding environment whilst always searching for better and more eco-friendly ways of living.

You will have the chance to enjoy the association's campsite and to discover the cultural and natural heritage of the region which is part of a natural park. Other leisure activities will be organised collectively depending on the wishes of the group and the available budget. On day in Paris is scheduled.

Volunteers will gain insights into local and global challenges through non-formal educational activities such as hands-on work, visits, discussions, and workshops. SEEDS volunteers have the opportunity to participate in different projects in collaboration with Landvernd (the Icelandic Environmental Organization), the EcoVillage at Sólheimar, the Icelandic Ministry for Environment and Natural Resources, Umhverfisstofnun (the Icelandic Environmental Agency) and Blái Herinn (the Blue Army). SEEDS volunteers will take on a variety of activities, depending on weather conditions and the needs of our partners including working in the forestry section and vegetable greenhouses in the EcoVillage, as well as participating in a nationwide project to raise awareness of ocean pollution, plastic waste, and engage the group in hands-on cleanup efforts in the area, allowing volunteers to make a direct impact!

Về dự ánThe accommodation is located an hour drive south-east from Reykjavík. The house serves as an environmental-educational centre and sits under Ingólfsfjall, The Mountain of Ingólfur, with a view of Eyjafjallajökull where the volcanic eruptions began in March and April 2010. The place is registered as natural Icelandic heritage; the nature, vegetation and birdlife is rich in variety and quantity. The volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful and beautiful location with a small stream and a pond nearby. Hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage can be found throughout the area, which is a popular attraction among both foreign and local visitors. The nearest town, Selfoss, only 10 minutes-drive away, with 6500 inhabitants, is a centre of commerce and small industries where you find a geothermal swimming pool, shops, museums, cafés and bars. Additional excursions (e.g. Golden Circle, the South Shore or Reykjanes Peninsula or a day-trip to the city of Reykjavík) can be arranged at discount fares depending on time availability, weather conditions, and the number of volunteers interested. The weather may be cold or rainy, so we recommend bringing warm and/or waterproof clothes.

Join the Library and Festive Camp Project in Nepal, where you will engage with local children in the Jitpurphedi community, located just outside Kathmandu. It is also about ensuring that girls learn and feel safe while in school; complete all levels of education with the skills to effectively compete in the labor market; learn the socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world; make decisions about their own lives; and contribute to their communities and the world. • Girls' education is a strategic development priority. Better-educated women tend to be healthier, participate more in the formal labor market, earn higher incomes, have fewer children, marry at a later age, and enable better health care and education for their children, should they choose to become mothers. All these factors combined can help lift households, communities, and nations out of poverty. • According to UNESCO estimates, 130 million girls between the age of 6 and 17 are out of school and 15 million girls of primary-school age—half of them in sub-Saharan Africa— will never enter a classroom. • Poverty remains the most important factor for determining whether a girl can access an education. For example, in Nigeria, only 4 percent of poor young women in the North West zone can read compared with 99 percent of rich young women in the South East. Studies consistently reinforce that girls who face multiple disadvantages — such as low family income, living in remote or underserved locations, disability or belonging to a minority ethno-linguistic group — are farthest behind in terms of access to and completion of education. • Violence also negatively affects access to education and a safe environment for learning. For example, in Haiti, recent research highlights that one in three Haitian women (ages 15 to 49) has experienced physical and/or sexual violence, and that of women who received money for sex before turning 18 years old, 27 percent reported schools to be the most common location for solicitation. • Child marriage is also a critical challenge. Since this time we have chance to study the 3rd language. But English studying is still very poor and MCE is always focusing to improve it.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngFor this project, IBG works with two local partners: The Alte Ziegelei Mainz, the former brick factory, was shut down in the 1970s. In the 19th century, brick production was an important part of regional industry and contributed significantly to the construction development of Mainz and the surrounding area. For decades, the brickworks produced building materials for numerous residential and industrial buildings. These are protected historic monuments now and offer home for a drama school, a nursery, accommodation for refugees, an adult education center, an unemployment initiative, and the Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation. It offers citizens space for private parties at two barbecue areas. The outdoor area has been redesigned taking into account the old clay pits and natural features. A near-natural system of woodlands, orchards, and meadows has been created, alternating with agricultural land. The Forest Ober-Olm (approx. 5km from the Alte Ziegelei) is home to the Forest Nature Conservation Centre (WNZ), an environmental education facility with the UN's SDGs as guiding principles. Numerous groups come to the WNZ for environmental education events, public campaigns, and the maintenance of the Ober-Olmer Forest nature reserve. During the international Workcamp, an exhibition opening with students from the Mainz Art Academy is planned at the WNZ.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênWorking with clay, traditional building methods, landscape and nature conservation, and environmental education tools are the main tasks of this international Workcamp. Two main areas of work will appoint two taskforces: 1) In the cultural centre Alte Ziegelei Mainz (translation: Former Brickworks Mainz) you re-point the masonry of the historic ring kiln, do landscape conservation work and various tasks on the grounds of the old brickworks and in the brick museum. 2) In the Waldnaturschutzzentrum (translation: Forest Nature Conservation Centre) you construct a clay oven. This clay oven will be available for use on public dates, e.g. for baking pizza. There are also plans to hold regular baking days at the site, where interested parties can bake their own bread on site. There are numerous other activities to enjoy on site, e.g. in the WaldArtenGarten (translation: ForestSpeciesGarden), which was created during the last international workcamp. There, work involves some biotope maintenance and assistance with the opening of an exhibition at the art college.

Về chỗ ởYou stay in several rooms in the cultural center Alte Ziegelei Mainz. The standard of the accommodation is rather basic: A kitchen, toilets, showers, and camping beds are available. To minimize our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat and try more environmentally-friendly meals.

You will have the opportunity of joint actions with local volunteers active in nature conservation associations followed by a ‘Festival of Cultures' with culinary specialties from around the world.
