Về hiệp hội địa phươngSince 2000, volunteers from all over the world have participated in summer programs designed to help improve the vegetable farm at the Childcare Center of Mongolia (Children's Home). Về hiệp hội địa phươngThis project is actively working on SDG2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG4 (Quality Education), and has been working with Ozuchi Village since 2013. Ozuchi Village was established by local people to preserve the original landscape. In 1916, there were 140 residents and 20 houses, but now only one person lives there. Fortunately, 10 houses remain and the village is designated as a national important traditional buildings preservation district. The village retains the landscape and lifestyle of old Japan that is no longer in existence. In order to preserve this place and culture, we are trying to improve the situation with the power of young volunteers. Since 2016, Ozuchi Village and NICE have started a monthly weekend work camp, and more than 200 volunteers visit the village every year, fall in love with the village, and participate as repeat visitors or support the village in whatever way they can! The local hosts hope to pass this village on to the next generation! *Outcome of this work camp: The village was abandoned, but one of the former villagers maintained the rice terraces and landscape. However, the work camp gave him such strength that he started living there again in 2018!

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênWe will do various work to activate the area and success their culture.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngWorldwide Friends (WF) is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 with the mission to promote nature conservation, intercultural understanding, and peace through volunteer activities in Iceland. In 2026, our focus will be on climate action, community resilience, and sustainable lifestyles — empowering participants to take meaningful action in their daily lives and local communities. WF organizes a variety of programs, including international workcamps, seminars, local community projects, and exchange programs, open to both young people and adults who wish to make a positive impact while experiencing Iceland's unique culture and natural beauty.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênThe renovation team will carry out essential repairs, maintenance, and improvement tasks to support the community in the Bordeyri area. Activities include, but are not limited to: - Painting interior walls and creating murals - Laying new floors - Replacing doors and windows - Installing or renovating playgrounds - Insulating walls and improving energy efficiency - Performing gardening and landscaping tasks - Supervising or assisting others in these roles All activities are carried out with safety as a priority, ensuring a secure environment for participants and the community. The renovated houses and facilities will be used for local community purposes, providing long-term benefits to Bordeyri residents. This project is ideal for participants interested in hands-on work, construction, and community development, contributing directly to the revitalization of this rural Icelandic community. Work will depend on weather conditions, so flexibility is essential. Working hours are approximately 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. As the Icelandic saying goes: “If you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes—it might change.“

Về chỗ ởVolunteers will stay at the Worldwide Friends house in Brú, which can accommodate up to 30 people. The house features 12 double rooms, several bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, common areas, workshop rooms, and galleries. Wireless internet access and a washing machine are available for all volunteers. Food is included for the duration of the work camp. Volunteers are expected to share responsibilities for cooking and cleaning. Meals are well-balanced and healthy, featuring whole grains, seasonal fruits and vegetables, pantry staples, and dairy products. Vegetarian diet encouraged.

Về dự ánWorldwide Friends Iceland is running a center of Environment & Sustainability near the crossroads to the West, South, and North of Iceland. The center is called BRíš, and it is located in Hrutafjordur which is 36 km long fjord in Hunathing vestra, on the R1. Keep in mind that is a 1-hour drive to the closest city (Borganes). Based just off the main road, we are not set in a town, therefore the only way to get around is by car. Brú's stunning surrounding countryside offers the perfect tonic to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Around the house, you can find a lot of pure and unspoiled nature, waterfalls, rivers, canyons, and craters. The purpose of the center is to protect nature in the area and to raise awareness of sustainability among the locals and the visitors who are coming to the area. The area nearby is great for hiking. The best time to see aurora borealis in Iceland is between September and April. It's when the nights are dark enough to see the Aurora. Iceland only gets 2-4 hours of daylight in midwinter, providing endless opportunities to hunt for aurora borealis. We will also concentrate on intercultural learning and exchange. Every evening, volunteers from different countries will be in charge of presenting their country of origin and culture in an informal way. It can be a presentation, a game, or theatre – the form of introduction is up to you! Therefore, we encourage you to bring along some food, photos, or anything interesting related to your country for a fun and informative evening amongst other volunteers. WF Iceland will organize reasonably-priced weekend excursions to some of the most popular, beautiful areas and natural wonders that Iceland has to offer. Excursions include unique Icelandic sights, such as waterfalls, volcanic and geothermal areas, glaciers, lava forests, hot springs, rhyolite mountain ranges, steam vents, or even icebergs. This workcamp allows you to spend an amazing time in Iceland with other international volunteers and to have an incredible experience where participants share their knowledge while exploring creativity, environmental issues, and intercultural learning.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc Please make sure to bring: - Warm outdoor work clothes suitable for Icelandic weather - Waterproof gear (jackets, pants, boots) - Personal protective equipment as needed for renovation and outdoor work (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, helmets)

Các thông tin khácThe first day of the camp is Arrival Day and the last day of the camp is Departure Day. The minibus will be at the meeting point in Reykjavik on the first day of the workcamp in the morning and arrive again at the Meeting point / BSí Bus Terminal in Reykjavik in the evening on the last day of the workcamp. Keep in mind that you need to arrange for your stay in Iceland before and after the workcamp.

The essential aims of the organization are to raise the social competences and employability of youth by organizing activites for national and foreign volunteers in various programs in Armenia, such as work camps, training courses, and medium- and long-term projects abroad. Về hiệp hội địa phươngThis project is actively working for SDG 4 (Quality Education), organized together with local group for International workcamp in Hirata since 2001. Hirata town is depopulated area in Izumo city and they don't have much chance to have an international interact, which is important for kids growth. Also, the number of people who maintain the environment is getting decreasing. We will organize a two-day open lesson for local elementary school students who have few opportunities to experience different cultures. Volunteers will introduce their own culture and language through fun games and activities. Kawashimo Bon Odori, a 700-year-old traditional dance registered as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Izumo City, is an important part of the community. Participants will practice the dance with local residents together and help pass it on to the next generation. Through this workcamp, we aim to make this rural community more open and connected to the world.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viên

Your role as a volunteer will be dynamic and deeply impactful, centred on three core activities:

Educational and Cultural Exchange
You will design and lead a two-day open lesson for local elementary school students. This is your chance to share your culture, language, and traditions through engaging games, songs, and interactive activities. For many of these children, this will be their first meaningful interaction with someone from another country, helping to broaden their horizons and spark their curiosity about the world.

Cultural Preservation
You will learn and practise the traditional Kawashimo Bon Odori dance alongside local children and community members. This is more than just a dance; it's a cherished community event that honours ancestral spirits. Your participation directly supports the effort to keep this beautiful tradition alive for future generations.

Community and Environmental Support
The programme also includes a visit to a local nursery school to interact with younger children and a seaside cleanup activity. These tasks address immediate community needs and demonstrate a commitment to protecting the beautiful natural environment of the Izumo region.

Về chỗ ở

Volunteers will stay at a local community centre, providing an authentic and immersive experience. Rooms will be shared with other international volunteers. A sleeping bag is required for your stay. This communal living arrangement is a great way to build strong bonds with your fellow participants.

Về thức ăn

Meals will be a collaborative effort, with volunteers taking turns to cook for the group. This is a wonderful opportunity to share recipes from your home country and learn to prepare Japanese dishes. While in Izumo, you may have the chance to try local specialties such as Izumo Soba, a unique type of buckwheat noodle famous throughout Japan, and fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan.

Về dự án

The project is located in Hirata, a town in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. Situated on the coast of the Sea of Japan, it is approximately 250 km northwest of Osaka. This region is less travelled by tourists, offering a genuine glimpse into rural Japanese life. Izumo is most famous for the Izumo Taisha (Izumo Grand Shrine), one of the oldest and most important Shinto shrines in Japan, which adds to the area's profound cultural and spiritual significance.

Về giải trí

During your free time, you will have the chance to explore the rich cultural and natural heritage of the Izumo region. A visit to the majestic Izumo Grand Shrine is an absolute must. You can also explore the scenic Inasa-no-hama beach, which is linked to many ancient myths, or visit the Shimane Museum of Ancient Izumo to learn more about the area's fascinating history. This is a perfect opportunity to experience a side of Japan that is deeply traditional and off the beaten path.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc

A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards working and communicating with children is essential. No specific language skills are required, but a willingness to engage and participate fully in all activities is key to a successful experience.

Các thông tin khácStudy theme - Volunteers will get knowledge of good ways of interaction with kids and learning local dance. Về hiệp hội địa phươngThe EDEN 62 association is a long-standing partner of Concordia, committed to the preservation and enhancement of natural spaces in the Pas-de-Calais region. In 2019, we already collaborated with them on the first European Solidarity Corps (ESC) team project, an innovative and enriching experience. More recently, in 2025, a first European project carried out together was a great success, confirming the strength and quality of this cooperation. Building on this positive momentum, this partnership is now being renewed to further develop international workcamps in a spirit of cooperation and knowledge sharing. As a key actor in environmental protection, EDEN 62 works to safeguard local biodiversity through the management of sensitive natural areas, public awareness activities, and concrete field actions. Their commitment to sharing, environmental education, and the preservation of natural heritage fully aligns with Concordia's values. In continuity with this collaboration, the municipality of Dannes has chosen to become even more involved this year by proposing additional activities and moments of exchange with local residents, in order to foster stronger interaction and community participation throughout the project. This project thus marks the return of a valuable collaboration, with the shared ambition of combining environmental action, intercultural exchange, and civic engagement.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênWelcome to Dannes, a village nestled between sea and forest, where you will take part in a unique environmental project in the heart of the Mont Saint-Frieux natural area. This exceptional site, shaped by wind and time, is a fragile ecosystem that requires active protection and careful management. This year's workcamp focuses on the maintenance and restoration of wetland and dune environments. Your main tasks will include mowing and clearing wetland areas to preserve their ecological balance, cutting back willow growth, and removing dense vegetation along hiking trails. These actions are essential to maintain biodiversity, support local wildlife, and ensure safe access to the site. You will also take part in the upkeep and reopening of hiking paths by clearing overgrown sections and improving trail accessibility for visitors. Alongside experienced environmental professionals, you will learn practical conservation techniques and discover how to manage sensitive natural habitats. Fully immersed in this outstanding landscape, you will actively contribute to the protection of a valuable natural heritage while enjoying the proximity of the coast and surrounding wilderness. A meaningful experience combining environmental action, learning, and discovery!

Về chỗ ởYou will be accommodated in individual tents in the park of the former chateau of Dannes, just a few meters from the beach. One of the chateau’s rooms will serve as a communal living space. Sanitary facilities will be available on-site, though without hot water, while showers will be accessible at the town’s stadium, a 10-minute walk away. You will share daily collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the camp leaders, and you will take part in grocery shopping, prioritizing healthy and local products.

Về dự ánDannes (2,000 inhabitants) is located in the Pas-de-Calais department, in the Hauts-de-France region. Situated near the Boulogne urban area, it is easily accessible by public transport. The region boasts a rich historical heritage, which you can explore nearby: the stunning Bay of Somme, various coastal forts, and the crypt of the Notre-Dame Basilica, among other sites. Numerous hikes will be offered on the mountain slopes, along with opportunities to discover the local fauna and flora. For more information about the town, visit: https://www.ville-dannes.fr/

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc This project is a YOUTH EXCHANGE. It welcomes 4 nationalities of volunteers, including FRENCH. Partners are invited to send 4 volunteers and a leader, within 1999km from DANNES. Nationalities may evolve (update of 20/05) Remember to bring work clothes for the work site as well as closed shoes. As the accommodation is under tents, remember to bring your sleeping bag as well as a sleeping mat or a camping mattress for more comfort. Don't forget your bathing suit in case you have the opportunity to go swimming! You can also bring back specialties from your country, photos, musical instruments, in short what you like and want to share on this site, either with the local population or with the group. Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country. This project is supported by the Erasmus+ program for young people aged 18 to 30. It is open to all volunteers who meet criteria and is subject to several principles and conditions. - Volunteers do not have to pay any fees (no sending, nor participation fees) to participate in the project, and will receive financial support for their travel, subjected to a maximum amount established according to their travel distance and upon presentation of the original tickets

Về hiệp hội địa phươngThe Baie de Somme Joint Syndicate is a new partner of Concordia. This summer, they organize four different projects, all focused on protecting coastal nature and biodiversity, especially with tourism. This partnership helps raise awareness and involves international volunteers in real and meaningful actions. Local partners will welcome you and make sure your stay is safe, friendly, and enriching. You will meet local people, tourists, and organizations, helping you discover the area and share cultures.

Về công việc của tình nguyện viênTake part in a hands-on project to protect the coast and natural areas for 15 days! Your main mission will be to build dry hedges in a small valley. This helps protect dunes, reduce erosion, and create habitats for local wildlife. At the same time, you will meet visitors on coastal paths. You will talk to them about good practices to protect dunes and biodiversity, especially during the nesting season of little plovers. You will encourage people to respect nature. The project combines manual work and communication with the public. It is a complete experience: you will help the environment, meet people, and learn techniques to manage natural areas. After two weeks, you will have helped restore a fragile ecosystem and learned useful skills in environmental work and communication, in a beautiful natural place with dunes, beaches, and protected areas.

Về chỗ ởYou will stay in your own tent at the campsite “La Vieille Eglise,” close to the work areas. A big shared tent will be used for meals and group time, and as a shelter if it rains. Toilets and showers are available at the campsite. Group life is very important: everyone helps with daily tasks and cooking. A budget will be managed to buy food, focusing on fresh, local, and seasonal products for healthy meals.

Về dự ánThe project takes place in Ault, a coastal area with high cliffs and amazing views over the sea. The area has rich biodiversity and different landscapes: cliffs, beaches, dunes, and wetlands. It is also a place where erosion and tourism are important issues. You will take part in educational walks along the cliffs and coastal paths to discover local ecosystems and understand how fragile they are. In summer, there are also local events and markets to enjoy and discover the culture of the region.

Về yêu cầu và nguyên tắc Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. This project is supported by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program for young people between 18 and 30. It is open to all volunteers that fit the ESC criteria. The participation to ESC volunteering teams is subjected to several principles and conditions, presented on the ESC webpage: https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity/mission_en - volunteers do not have to pay any fee (neither sending, nor participation fee) to attend the project and will receive financial support for their travel, according to a maximum amount established depending on their travel distance and upon the presentation of original tickets; - volunteers need to enrol in the PASS, the ESC Portal; then Concordia France will organise their matching, on the online system, with the volunteering project; - volunteers will receive pocket money, calculated on the basis of 8€/day, once they arrive at the project in France; - volunteers will have to complete a participation report, submitted online through the portal. Your tickets have to be uploaded on the CONFIRMATION FORM. Please fill the confirmation form when you receive the Infosheet. This is MANDATORY for all ESC participants. If you fail to provide your transport tickets on time, your participation may be cancelled. The tickets have to be shared a month before the project. In the case of last minute application, the delay will be of two days.

Các thông tin khácPlease bring good shoes, working clothes and a swimsuit. As nights can be quite cold, remember also to bring warm clothes, a sleeping bag and a mattress for more comfort. You can also bring traditional recipes from your home country/region, an instrument of music and games.

Về hiệp hội địa phươngThis project is actively working for SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with Phoudindaeng Youth Center (PYC) since 2009. PYC's main projects are running a school bus, teaching English in extracurricular classes, supporting the construction of a community center and establishing a library. Considering the increasing demands of villagers, PYC was officially established in 2007 which has played important roles for personal growth, life-long education and formation of leadership skills. PYC also keeps money little by little from the volunteers fee and sponsors the teachers' salary in the elementary school of the mountain connecting the children of 3 races (Lao, Mon and Khum) since the government neglect the school as well as youth employment from low income families, but more funds are needed (to buy a new van, etc.).
